What Makes a Good Tech Go Bad?
I was one of these techs. I am reflecting a year and a half later. A year and a half of being distanced from the pharmacy. I left because I knew I had to. I left for my sake. For the sake of my patients. For the sake of my coworkers. I left not just because I graduated with a 4-year degree in something unrelated and more profitable. I left for personal reasons that affected by professional judgement.
I left because I had become a bad tech. I loved my job. I loved most of my patients and the people I worked with. However, I dropped my moral compass and it shattered.
