James Marsden doesn’t need much, I have to admit.. but just add little bit of scruffiness and voilà we have perfection.

It’s just amazing how a little scruffiness can go a long way. Galavant cannot be denied!
Perfect example of The Aragorn Effect.
Thomas Kretschmann aka Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in Captain America.
The cute baby face Charlie Cox has is just transformed into this insane hot guy, once we add a little scruffiness. If you watched the new Daredevil Series you definitely know what I’m talking about.
Though Under The Dome is going downhill, Mike Vogel's Barbie hardly makes wrong choices, as you can see in his decision to stay scruffy.
One of the characteristics associated with The Aragorn Effect is taking cute and adorable guys and turning them into hot, badass men, or in this case X-men.
Omar Sy as Bishop: what more do you want?
Ps.: Remember: You can submit your example of The Aragon Effect or you can send us a message with your suggestion. =]
Look at James D'arcy, so handsome!
But let's scruffy him up just a little bit and voilá!
You are welcome.
Aidan Turner already has the Scruffy looking vibe, but what happens if you add more hair and more beard?!
One hot looking dwarf!
It works on girls too! Look at Katheryn Winnick, she looks even more beautiful with some scruffyness.
This is her on Vikings.
For a brief window in the early-90s, The Aragorn Effect was a.k.a. The Last of the Mohicans Paradox. When we had a young Daniel Day-Lewis playing Hawkeye, proving to us all that the Aragorn Effect is much more than just having a 5 o’ clock beard.
It really, but really is about the scruffiness of it all. <3
Meet Gabriel Macht: a cutie with no beard on... and, well. The definition of hotness with some scruffiness. I'm lost for words, truly <3
In light of the upcoming “Suicide Squad” staring Jered Leto as THE Joker, let’s pause and appreciate the times his scruffiness made him look even more dreamy.
Well, at least we can enjoy his Aragorn Effect before he becomes the disfigured clown villain from Gotham we all love to hate. I’m guessing we’ll smile either way. ;)
This goes to show that The Aragorn Effect works even when you already have a face that makes girls go "wow".
Tom Cruise on The Last Samurai.
Makes you really want a zombie apocalypse, right?
Well... this a difficult one. Richard Madden as Prince Charming or as the King in the North?
To help us out I added one with wolf puppies! \o/ The Aragorn Effect + Puppies = u can't touch this zo> <o/ _o_
Oh, Charlie Hunnam.. just stay scruffy. <3
Yes! Just let the scrufiness get ya, Michiel Huisman!
We like it!
