Casting Call: Always Raining Here Dub

Hey friends I'm going to be working on doing a Dub of Hazel and Bell's webcomic, "Always Raining Here" and I am looking for voices to do it with me. "Adrian is heartsick, Carter is horny. This is a story about their misadventures as awkward teenagers as they fumble through unrequited romances." - from the website Just a heads up, Adrian and Carter are the 2 main roles, and will have by far the most lines, the other characters may only appear in a few pages so far, so If you audition for either of these characters please take that into consideration, and please before auditioning get acquainted with the material and characters you are auditioning for! also if you would be ok with voicing other misc. characters let me know -also Carter speaks french in part of the comic, only for a couple of lines so you I would need someone who can at least pretend to speak french, Again they are student's so it doesn't need to be perfect french by any means, Adrian even makes fun of his french on the next page so if it is bad that is fine too. The story is between the two aforementioned boys, and their romance and life. As of yet there is no explicit sex scene however, there is some making out and some suggestive stuff, so if you would be uncomfortable with making what could be considered slightly sexual sounding noises than please do not audition. (Really though its not anything bad at all XD please don’t be intimidated by it) Here is a link to the Audition:

Princess Peach.

It makes me laugh when people say that Rosalina has more character then Peach, just because she has an emo bang, and a sad back story; Or when they say the same thing about Daisy, just because she is a tomboy.

Rosalina has been in 7 games, 5 of which are games that she has no plot relevance or character development in, in galaxy you learn about her melancholy back story, and how she came to be the protector of the cosmos. You also kind of get the feel that she has a little bit of trouble trusting people, but that is all you get about her.

And literally all we have to build Daisy's personality on is the sports games, and some old comics.

Don't get me wrong I love Rosalina (not so fond of daisy) but you have to admit their character isn't as defined as Peach's. 

Daisy's Personality: tomboyish, spunky, excitable, rowdy, cheerful, bright, competitive

Proof: Sports games, and various Bio's from the games

Rosalina's Personality: Demure, calm, wise, motherly, kind, lonely

Proof: Mario galaxy 1&2

Peach's Personality: Kind, graceful, generous, cheeky, fearless, mischievous, innocent, pure, selfless, adventurous, classy, gentle unless provoked, sweet, hospitable, laments how Mario always has to save her, cunning, Tactical, competent, capable, devoted, loyal. She also enjoys gardening, playing video games, cooking, and ballroom dancing, among other hobbies.

proof: a combination of the 70-ish games that she's been in. The paper mario series as well as the "Mario and Luigi" series did alot to flesh out her character and show that she is alot more then some bimbo in a castle. Also if you try and tell me that Rosalina/Daisy's characters are more defined, you'd better be prepared because I will ask you for proof. You can ask me about any of the traits I listed for Princess Peach and I can give you proof that these are things that have been canonically defined in her character.

and yes, while it is true that you don't know much about her back story, it is clear that her character is more defined. A sad back-story doesn't automatically designate a developed character, and being a counter princess doesn't either. and just because Princess Peach is your typical "girly princess" type, it doesn't mean that she has no character development. If you honestly call her character flat then you must think that Daisy's and Rosalina's are virtually non existent.

Now I'm not trying to say one Princess is better then another, personally Princess Peach is my favorite, but I can understand why people might like Rosalina or Daisy more, different characters appeal to different people. However I am saying that you cannot honestly say that Princess Peach has no character, if you do, you clearly haven't looked into or paid attention to her at all.
