after getting my own heart broken by TROS my music shuffled to Wish You Were Here and my brain thought Awful Sad Thoughts about Rey dealing with losing, quite literally, one half of her soul.  “did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? did you exchange a walk on part in the war  for a lead role in a cage? how I wish,  how I wish you were here we’re just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year.  wish you were here.” Imagine Rey seeing a stranger who looks like Ben in a marketplace, or sitting by herself alone tinkering around, and just stops for a moment and thinks. Wish you were here.
