I normally spend approximately 10 hours a day in a chair (i get up often but like its a desk job plus an hour one way commute) during the week for work.

Watching #PWHL New York Sirens v Montreal Victoire right now (its in Detroit I believe?) since #HeatedRivalry got me interested in hockey today. Apparently it's historic because its the first game televised?

I stream so I am able to watch from my Roku, thankfully.

I wish I could afford tickets to go to a game... Trying to do more stuff this year and I think I would love to go.

i have a headcanon that shane has a very prominent queer fanbase wayyy before coming out. he’s got a speedo sponsorship and he’s an underwear model, the gays are frothing over him constantly. he’s relatively unaware of this cause he’s not on social media but at some point he hears someone refer to him as a gay icon and he nearly has a panic attack.

post skip ice kiss, people are revisiting the infamous shane/scott fight and a rumor starts that him and scott used to be an item. ilya thinks its hilarious and teasingly asks if he fucked scott hunter, which leads to shane explaining why they actually fought, which only makes ilya happier.

That was delicious. I genuinely don't think I've seen anyone line up those scene parallels so well before. This was a perfect snapshot of every branch, rock, and mattress they hit on their way down

I fully believe that Shane made it through ten years of interviews about his rivalry with Ilya without lying once to the media.

Like it's so easy to just use hockey cliches and dismissive remarks to avoid answering anything real, without lying.

And after they're outed a bunch of people are all up in arms about the great rivalry and how Ilya and Shane were lying the whole time, and Shane posts a YouTube compilation of his rivarly interviews with just "Never lied once". And the internet goes crazy deep diving all the things he said over the years.

Ilya posts a video of himself leading up to the playoffs in 2014 where he says "I don't think about Hollander until I play him" with the caption - "This was lie. Everything else was true. Or joke."

And the fans do the same deep dive on his interviews and finds he's telling the truth too.

Anyway, I just love them.
