While watching Smallfoot, both Ollie and I were SHOCKED at how well the focus on size difference interaction was!!! It was done with like…THOUGHT. It felt like someone….someone who is INTO G/t….worked on it and made sure to really emphasize the size difference in ways that MATTERED. 

It wasn’t a disappointment like DownSizing… the movie didn’t shy away from BIG interacting with SMALL and upon further investigation-

Ya’ll…I don’t like to make assumptions about people but-

The director of SmallFoot, Karey Kirkpatrick, is one of US.

He earned his first writing credit CO-WRITING “The Rescuers Down Under”

This whole fiasco with Tumblr banning adult content is super upsetting for me. This is my only access point for the G/t community, and I feel like I'm about to lose it all. The only other place I have where I post anything remotely G/t is my FetLife, but that's geared mostly towards nsfw. I want the community, and the sfw content in addition to the being able to express and explore the kink aspects. This has been the only site on which I could have all of those simultaneously, and I'm at a complete loss as to where to go from here.

They can shift into a human (or other animals), but they’re still only a few inches tall. They can’t change their size.

Imagine an injured swallow flying by a person and collapsing to the ground. The person goes to see if they can help it at all, speaking to it as people sometimes speak to animals, knowing they won’t reply, asking it what happened to it as they observe its wound.

It seems to chirp rhythmically right on beat for a response, as if it truly is intending to reply. The person sighs helplessly: “I wish you could speak human.”

Suddenly, the bird becomes a tiny person, no bigger than the human’s hand. “My wing–I mean… my arm. Please, can you help me?”

If you had to choose between shrinking and growth or same size or giantess which would you choose? For most I think believe that shrinking and growth are basically the same thing because of similar goals (to create a certain size difference). Most seem to prefer shrinking because it’s more tame. Personally, prefer growth because it takes all of the good things about giantess(size, power over you, sometimes destruction) and just adds gas to the flame. Your arguments & preferred ones? No space >.>

I’m a considerably logical sort, so I honestly kind of prefer the shrinking route as well, unless the situation calls for some growth/giantess. If a character comes out of nowhere and is a giantess, I kinda wanna know how they function outside of the current scenario when compared to normal sized humans. If a character is grown into a giantess without any way to shrink back, I kind of want to know how they deal with it. It really starts a lot more distractions.

I really like shrinking/tinies because it creates a much more intimate setting. The macro can take the tiny to her room and tease them all she wants. Or she can hide the tiny in public, etc etc. And I don’t think it takes away from the dominance in the situation either, because the giantess just MADE you powerless. You might have had some power before, but you sure as hell don’t have any now, and you’re completely at her mercy. Bonus points if she’s pretty nonchalant about the whole thing.
