Pokemon the anime Was just an extended horse movie metaphor
If you replace pikachu with an unruly yet loving horse nothing changes
“Well, I do have one left, the most unruly pokemon in my possession. He knows no master and can only kick things.”
And ash is just a horse girl with bad hair so he trains the horse even though it did rupture his spleen multiple times with its beautiful legs
“Get me that pikachu with the beautiful legs, I need him for the Big Race.”

THE WAY SO MANY PEOPLE KEEP USING THIS PICTURE FROM THE MUPPET MOVIE WHERE YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE KERMIT
Since the idea of catching Pokemon is implied to be digitizing them in some capacity, I am obsessed with the implication that you can just not be digitized if you fight hard enough.
I also like the implication that some Pokeballs make it so that it's easier to digitize you if you're Wet
Before corporations standardized things, they digitized these beasts using fruit
Personally I like how in legends Arceus they just implied that Pokemon just Do That when you throw a container at them, like it's inherent to pokemon not the technology
You're telling me these Pokémon are some kind of digital monsters?
No, they use analog compression. A properly carved nut will do the job, according to offiicial lore. So it worked before actual digitizing.
wait so it's like an irl zip file
wait that's just a folder
