Googled something about quick hydration and it suggested big jug of water, couple tbsp pickle juice, dash of lime juice.

Pleased to report that after a day of this i am not longer craving caper brine and my mouth is not dry as usual. There's some good suggestions in the notes too that I want to try.

-ancient roman posca: water, red or white wine vinegar, honey, salt, herbs (coriander, mint, thyme)

-switchel: water, ginger, vinegar, sweetener, lemon, salt

-ayran: yogurt, water, salt, mint

-Agua pepino: water, cucumbers, lime, sugar, optional mint.

One overlooked benefit to chemotherapy is that mosquitoes don’t want to bite you anymore, and the few that are brave enough to bite anyway are probably not gonna have a good time. Hahaha take that, suckers

Just saw a satellite in the middle of the day. Didn’t know that was possible, if that’s even what it was. It was a shining bright star in the blue sky that I assumed at first must be like a REALLY faraway plane but it wasn’t blinking and it faded into invisibility as it moved. So.

Christian Tumblr can be frustrating because you’ll see all these posts with prayer requests that are kept vague on purpose for privacy reasons which is good and necessary but ☝🏻 also. now I’m curious. Intrigued even

He starts off with an attempt to put you at ease by finding common ground.

Then he leans on that to appeal to outside forces—it’s not his idea, that’s just the way it is.

Once he has you there, he isolates you, demanding that you should direct all of your time and energy towards him. He places himself on a pedestal, claiming that you won’t find anything better elsewhere.

He reels it back to placate you and suddenly it’s “oh, this is just my opinion, actually”, before quickly switching to condescension and mansplaining, as if you don’t agree with him simply because you are too dumb to understand.

He makes it clear that he doesn’t respect your boundaries and will never stop pursuing you. He promises that he’ll never cheat, or walk out on you, or go behind your back, as if these were options before that he’s being so nice to forgo for your sake.

Girl, run.

I remember being disappointed to learn that the title “Bowser’s Inside Story” was just a pun because you are actually inside Bowser. I wanted to get all the juicy deets about the King of the Koopas himself but instead all I got was the juicy meats. Still a fantastic game tho 10/10 would recommend
