Considering that Light was so terrified (don't argue with me on this one please) of Mello he wanted him straight up eliminated instead of continuing his cat and mouse chase with two cats (Mello and Near) which would be the most fun he would've had since L, and considering that collectively Mello and Near took Light down, and considering Matt ranked 3rd at Wammy's, I'd have to assume that Matt wasn't a complete dingus.
All that considered IF Mello truly did "rope" Matt in, as HTR suggests (total bullshit homophobic erasure but let's assume), I'd like to think Mello has dirt on Matt and I'd just like to know how phenomenal the shit Matt pulled was that he got "roped into" by a "criminal" and led to his death before he even turned 20.
Like what were you even doing at age what? 15? 16? that was so horrifying that you could be blackmailed or roped into this?!
