This is the first I'm hearing of this so-called... Corruption. Granted, I was in an "eternal" slumber for six hundred years, then spent two hundred either fighting for my life or readjusting to... Existing. This corruption is new to me. And I promise, small one, vampires are very real. We're exactly where you think we wouldn't be. Doctors, historians, archivists... Some of the many roles vampires have fulfilled for millenia.
