More than #forgiveness
“Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done.”
— C.S. Lewis
Just because the world around you uses filthy language to express an opinion or a thought or an emotions or because it seems cool doesn’t mean you should. There is a such thing as filthy language and words that do not encourage others because are used selfishly. It’s not legalism to care about the words you say, it’s love for yourself and those around you.
Some in the church have said, “I have a right to say and feel what I want.” And we don’t if we denied ourselves. The only right we have is to live and walk like Jesus.
Colossians 3:8-11.
Farewell
So the next chapel prefect was announced today so I will be not writing on this blog anymore :’) Even though i fluff around a lot on this and have no idea how to manipulate any of the tech stuff and have basically shied away from anything except reblogging photos and a few thoughts and prayers, thank you to all the people who have read my posts, shared a few of my photos and liked my stuff! It’s been an interesting experience seeing all the things that people post and how many people connect through tumblr to share the word of God and to spread the love. So THANKS FRIENDS BYEEE
When it all looks out of control: He’s still at the helm. #Jesus
Matthew 6:33
“Pay attention, centre your focus, do well, stay inside the lines, play by the rules…” From a young age we are taught to follow standardised patterns, guidelines and steps. We are taught what to do, how to do it and precisely when to do it in order to be successful. We liken our education, our growing up and our moving forward to dot to dot pictures. Always sketching from one number to the next in perfect sequence, in order to see the final picture presented in all its glory. But what if your life isn’t supposed to be rigid. What if you weren’t designed to always do what’s always been done. What if I told you that you were born to break the cycle, crush the mold and forge new pathways. What if I told you there’s beauty in the break out and freedom in the change and transformation. What if you took your creative element, held it in your hand and began to de-focus, stopped doing what you’ve always done and stopped thinking what you’ve always thought. What if you stopped worrying about embarrassment or opinions, stopped sticking to your limitations and stopped being so skeptical all the time. What if you stopped listening to the experts, stopped avoiding mistakes and stopped being so orderly and predictable. What if you stopped avoiding diversity, stopped assuming there’s only one right answer and stopped being so completely practical. What if you stopped being so refined, revolved and restricted by the expected, the demanded and the wanted, and started creating slightly off centre. Those who dare to believe there is no room for a new thing, will spend forever re-mastering someone else’s greatest masterpiece. Your bones were built within you not to reproduce, mimic or shadow; but to challenge, inspire and create. Every dot to dot picture has the potential to be something greater than it is perceived to be. So go ahead… Create off centre, dare to be different, and find the sequence that screams the dream within you. Let it be pure, let it be wild and let it be free.

I forget about praying quite a lot honestly, but it is so important to pray continuously, to continue deepening your relationship with God and to fufill what we were made for
