Finaly got to relisten to File 69. Felt like I needed a relisten to prosses take in everything, but then life happened.

Major spoiler warning, btw.

Ok, Adam is dead. Probably. I mean he existed "metaphysically" before he had a body... Either way, I shan't mourn him. The thing he said about loving Sydney, reminded me of this scene in Season 1, where this spider crytpid Sydney encountered (if i remember correctly) said something along the lines of "who are you, who the world loves so much", as well as of course Elephant Boi's sermons. Though Elijah had his obsession with Sydney before the Liminal.

So, Soren is "half-dead" huh? Good thing i relistened to the episode, because I honestly thought he just died, first time. Him and Fennel continue to parallel Sydney and Jedediah. I really wonder what "Half-dead" means in Soren's case. Like, It was the Gravediggress he worshiped, so I sure hope that doesn't mean, like, the reannimated rabbit.

The camps are destroyed and everyone are arrested. What next. Will S3 inexplicably start with the camp restored, thanks to some clocks or Lucille Deus-ex-machina, leaving what happened to be the mystery of the season? One can sentimentally hope.

Just got the "you two get along quite well, for twins" line, and I gotta ask, Is this just because Melinoë grew up with Artemis, or is that, like, a stereotype that twins don't get along?? Cause that was a thing in the first game as well. I have a twin, and we've always been pretty close. Used to clash a bit when we were younger ig, but less than a lot of siblings, i think.

Ok so, wow.

Firstly, i am very glad to see Sydney alive after file 57, at least. The whole "comedy" thing made me go "holy shit oh fuck oh no" as much as anybody. I think it's really interesting to see Sydney from this less flattering angle. He has his issues and toxic behaviors that are easy to forget, as well. Though this was alot. I do still also wonder what happened with him and Adam after ep 57.

The confrontation between Sydned and Joshua was also pretty interesting, though.... after all that, i'm not the only one that felt like Joshua borderline proposing to him felt a little wierd, right? Like after that whole discussion about boundaries and trauma and such, suddenly he's like "i could treat u better bb". Idk

Okay, Joshua, in what world is Yvonne above you? Bc you were just making a whole thing out of being cis and Yvonne’s gender is listened on the wiki as genderweird. So if we’re going by the hierarchy of gender discrimination that you’ve decided to consciously factor into your relationships, then wouldn’t Yvonne still be below you? Although maybe it’s specifically because Yvonne isn’t currently going through something to the degree that Sydney is. Also, oh man, Joshua, this is a really terrible way to view your relationships, but at least you’re honest about it. You can definitely see that he feels guilt over the privileges that he has, and like, yes you should be kind to people who have less than you, but this amount of guilt turning into this weird pity that you have for Sydney is not good. And yes, Sydney is going through a lot and he does need help, but letting him use you as a punching bag isn’t the way to fix that. He’s still a grown man who can be told that bullying someone over the loudspeaker is wrong. Even if you’re punching up, it’s at a specific person who can hear you and hasn’t really done much wrong. Speaking of, why does Sydney feel this way about Joshua? I feel like we’re still missing something from college unless Sydney just doesn’t like him because Joshua has been nothing but kind to him. Maybe Sydney just doesn’t like the pity, I don’t know.
