Pearlmethyst week Day 2 - Crossover (Undertale)

I didn’t have to make it sad but I did anyway :P
The snow seemed heavier that day.
Amethyst pulled her blue jacket a little tighter around her body. She technically could just faze on her clothes but she liked the weight of the fabric on her physical form akin to what humans called a security blanket.
Hatred rose up at the back of Amethyst throat at the thought of those apes. She didn’t despise all humans, just the ones who throw her kind down here. The rare humans that wandered down into their prison were okay but they didn’t last long. The royal guards would eventually kill them for Pink Diamond. If none of them managed to, Jasper defiantly would.
Amethyst couldn’t be bothered killing humans and she didn’t see why she should bother. She was a sentry; her job was just to report the humans. No more, no less.
Had she still been a member of the royal guard, Amethyst might have cared but she quit that job a long time ago. In fact in two days it would be the anniversary of the day she quit.
Today, however, was a different anniversary.
Amethyst reached for her chain. On the end of it was a charred metal access key card with a number on it. Her number.
“Don’t forget,” she murmured, hand clenched over the card.
She remembered the way her hands felt. Smooth and unblemished despite all the work she would do everyday. A stark contrast to Amethyst scarred, blistered hands.
She remembered the sound of her voice. Warm and light, tinkling like a bell but would turn high and scratchy when she was flustered or angry.
Amethyst liked the way her face looked when she was upset; bright blue in the face and the picture of anything but perfect.
But her eyes… her eyes were her favourite part. They would get so bright when she was emotional. Her eye were so huge and expressive and… and…
Panic shot through Amethyst’s gem.
She couldn’t remember what colour her eyes were. That couldn’t be right. They were… they were… what colour were they?
Amethyst got to her feet and paced in front of her station, her hand clenching tighter around the card.
She had to remember. She was the only one that could. She couldn’t forget. She gave up going back a long time ago. She owed it to her to at least remember what colour her eyes were.
“Remember, idiot… you have to remember…” Amethyst growled, her hand began cutting to the sides of the card.
“…It’s just a colour… just remember…” her other hand griped her hair.
“…Remember…” her cheeks started getting wet.
“…You can’t forget…” her legs started shaking.
“…You can’t…” she stopped walking.
“…You just can’t…” she dropped to her knees.
