I'm disappointed that Ever Crisis will get taken down in October. I played on it quite a bit last year. I know there are a lot of people archiving wallpapers and stories/events, but it'll be unfortunate if we can't play it again. I'd love an official offline version, but I doubt that is in the cards. Hopefully if it does become lost media (alongside the remake of the lost media game Before Crisis which is very ironic) maybe someone will make a fan server for it.

On the plus side, at least I can play on the Before Crisis remake before it shuts down. I look forward to seeing the section with Zack, Sebastian and Essai. Zack always has such a bad time in this series lol Even his Magic at the Gathering card is basically a dark joke about what happens to him at the end of Crisis Core.

Thinking of playing on it for a few days to reset my messy mind a bit. With some luck, getting to have more content for the Turks and Zack will cheer me up. Hopefully I can get back to editing my longfics as well. I'm happy with my progress on them so far. My FFVII one is half-way there now, I noticed so many grammar mistakes. My habit of using commas at the end of actions like 'Kenzo takes a drag on his cheap cigarette. Smoke puffs out of his lips, "This shit tastes like a wall in a back alley."' I had to edit so many. (╥﹏╥)

Update on my OC art! I'm pretty happy with how the background's turning out. I still need to add more shadows and light to them both so they blend in more with the environment but hopefully I can finish it this week. I took inspiration from the book cover of FFVII: Traces of Two Pasts as well.

I decided to work more on some portraits of my OCs from a FFVII fic I've been writing since 2020! These two are Kenzo and Marcel. I've been editing the story to get it ready to print for book binding and decided to tighten it up, change a handful of character names to fit more with the phonetics of canon characters, and add in foreshadowing in previous chapters to link up plot lines and hint who Marcel's and Kenzo's parents are.

I also finally decided on these guys' Wutaian birth names after doing more research, the names they use throughout the story are an alias, Kenzo never told Marcel what their real names were in an effort to stop him from figuring out certain things about their past. I'm a sucker for themes on identity (thanks FFVII lol) and they both share a few 'fake' names, the ones Hojo labelled them in the labs, ones they used in the Sector Five Slums orphanage to avoid Shinra, and the names they use currently in the mid-point of the fic. (Though as far as Marcel is aware they are his and Kenzo's 'real' names.)

I'd like to finish this art soon, I might make another update for it when I have the energy to post online again.

I gave my friend my Miis via local play for Tomadachi Life and I got these screenshots in return LMAO The first one is my FFVII OC, the rest are canon FFVII and FE3H characters. The Zack mii belongs to my friend!

My mental/physical health hasn't been great so I've been taking a break from most online spaces but thought I'd share this. Hopefully I can comment on fics in my to be read list when I feel better too.

I posted a new chapter for my Fire Emblem Three Houses fic! I’m looking forward to seeing what Fortune’s Weave brings too. Still not sure if it is going to be a sequel or a prequel (or both) yet, but I suppose we will all find out in September! I’m considering including worldbuilding from Fortune’s Weave if it turns out to be a prequel, but for now here’s my brain worms based on FE3H lol

With an offered hand, Claude helps him up, keeping his other palm open, Dimitri's loyalty comes with an arm wrapped around ghosts, and Edelgard extends friendship but reaches for a weapon. All come at a price paid in bloodied gold.

But until the so-called god who wears his ribcage has his say, Ornias intends to spend every last coin before the debt comes due.

OR: Ornias should be dead. Yet, he travels to Garreg Mach with a jaded god fused to his ribs and a past which surfaces in shards. While the Church heralds him as a miracle, he weathers the hidden agendas of three House Leaders who each see a different use for him.
