Sunflowers are known to face the sun during the day and its all i could think about and connected boffins to it somehow. The tall sunflowers around Bofur are facing Bilbo who is the designated “sun” here.

The scattered Forget-me-not’s come from my headcanon of bilbo having partial heterochromia in both eyes—which is the reason for his eyes sometimes looking blue and sometimes brown. They’d be bluest under the moonlight which reminds Bofur of Sapphires and Forget-me-not’s and would often gift them to Bilbo. Goodnight

HELLO OKAY!!! i’m still planning on doing boffins week! i’m thinking of setting it for somewhere in june? preferably mid to late june, im still working on the prompts and i genuinely cant wait…

but i also want to mention i actually wanted to have it way earlier but unfortunately my xppen (which i use to make digital art) has broken down on me so i decided to go a bit further in the future, by that time i hope it should either be fixed or i have gotten a new one. All for boffins i suppose :]

everyone in fantasy novels is horny on main for elves and it’s honestly a travesty like why the hell would you want to marry an elf you’ll just spend the rest of your days growing old in the woods with a bunch of immortal bastards whose heads are so far up their asses they think singing week-long ballads is prime entertainment and say shit like “thou” and “beseech” unironically y'all should be hooking up with dwarves who 1. actually know how to throw the fuck down and let loose at a party 2. will literally shower you in diamond dust and gold they mined and crafted with their bare hands and 3. can sling you over their shoulder like a sack of potatoes with their huge muscular arms developed from hours of said mining and crafting. there’s literally no contest.
