Nobody talks about how Diana Ross nasty AF and did Michael wrong

Him and his brothers lived in her house temporarily when he was like 10-11, and he considered her a mother figure. His own mom referred to her as his mom away from home (read her book “My Family, The Jacksons”). She was the one who got him into drawing and painting. She’s a grown woman at this point, 26.

Then when he’s finally an adult, she’s all over his ass.

Unfortunately I don’t have receipts for this part but I read somewhere that Frank Dileo (Michael’s late ex-manager and friend) said that Diana was his first. Diddy later confirmed that Michael had disclosed that info to him at a party. Dileo also said it happened while Diana was [publicly] in a relationship with another man. She knew Michael was in love with her and wanted her to marry him, but she didn’t want to and would continue to have sex with him and string him along and then go on to marry other men. 

And Diana was nowhere to be found when Michael was going through his shit. Didn’t even have a relationship with him. A period that lasted over two decades. But in the years after he died, she suddenly tweeting about him calling him her baby and shit. She ain’t even go to the funeral.

Who cares if some women wanna fit beauty standards (within reason) and gender roles? The problem is not with THEM, it’s with the system that forces it on all women, not the women who succumb.

It takes a lot of energy to comply with beauty standards and what not but it can take even more not to and deal with all the shit you get. Especially since the amount of shit rises exponentially if you’re not white, cis and skinny. It’s not weak to go with the patriarchal flow if it ensures your survival and it’s not a radical statement not to when you can easily afford it.

i’ve seen people be like “i can’t wait until Kodak Black has a beautiful darkskinned daughter” and like ?? that’s not good lmao i hope that man never procreates bc if he really does have a daughter w/ skin similar to his? even if he changes she’s gonna be reminded of the fact that once upon a time he said his skin (and ultimately hers) is ugly and undesirable. that little girl would legitimately suffer. i don’t understand the sentiment of wishing any type of child on a parent who makes those kinds of insidious comments. that’s just wishing harm on the next generation and children deserve so much more than that

You don’t have to love abortion. You can dislike it. Maybe it even makes you sad. The way you view abortion is up to you. If you don’t like abortion, you can advocate for proper sex education, access to birth control and other things that have been shown to lower unplanned pregnancies. You don’t have to like abortion.

But what you can’t do is disrespect somebody for having an abortion. You can’t take away that choice from women because you don’t like it. Your emotions are not somebody else’s responsibility. Your emotions aren’t more important than anyone else’s bodily autonomy. You don’t have to like abortion, but you have to respect other people’s rights and that includes the right to safe, accessible, abortion.
