If I think about it a lot, Casey jr is a character who makes me sad, im going to rant abour him a little, any mistakes are the translators fault and partly due to my resentment towards english lol

I think of Casey jr as this boy raised by and for war

But now, traveling back to his past to save the world, hes alone. His family is there, but it's not the same, not the same family that raised him and loved him

And I can't help but think that he might feel like he doesn't belong, being in a new world for him, without war, I feel that only increases that feeling of being an intruder and not belonging

Wanted to try my hand at comparing Book Rocky vs Movie Rocky. At first I was much more partial to movie Rocky (having seen it first), but now that I've read the book I think I'm fonder of his design and character in the book more! I thought it would be fun to combine my favorite attributes from both into one design.

And then I had a lot of fun with it and it spiraled into drawing a bunch of random Eridians and a design for Adrian. I just think they are very neat (and very fun to draw)!!

Attempting to figure out how to draw Rocky by just kinda scribbling with a brush pen. I had to switch pens midway through the dance sequence, though, so the line quality varies wildly, haha.

per anon’s request, i present to you THE best version of beatrice’s monologue in much ado about nothing. i thought about cropping this but decided this scene must be watched in its full glory

What’s really cool about this is this is the first version of this scene that I’ve seen where the tone doesnt whiplash wildly which is so hard to do!!! Bc it’s a scene that comes directly after some rough public shaming and it is both a love confession scene and a scene where a woman asks someone to kill someone and the love confession IS funny but Beatrice’s monologue is not. A lot of the other versions- even well beloved ones like the 2011 version with David Tennant and Catherine Tate- do this scene and there is emotional whiplash, audiences often laughing when Beatrice begs Benedict to kill Claudio. To see it done this way??? Oh my god the line read on “if a were a man, I would eat his heart in the marketplace” DESERVED that cheet
