the correlation between watching a tv series/getting back into your fav show during exam season needs to be psychologically studied
you know shits crazy when Bucky Barnes is the most mentally stable person in your friend group
that winter soldier obsession came back in FULL swing after watching thunderbolts
Ok, trying to understand why I love the idea of Yelena and Bob as a couple. Well, because it's different. They are both not the typical characters you see in Hollywood blockbusters, there's a certain vulnerability to them that it's unique and they both are allowed to look like a mess. Bob is not hyper masculine, despite being basically... Superman. Yelena is not a femme fatale despite being an assassin. It's something new to these super-hero films. It's something young.
I think this is why it's catching people's attention.
Can’t believe all it took for me to care about the MCU again was Yelena getting a super-powered boy toy with crippling depression
the depressed woman pulling the man from the literal void of darkness and despair...
at that point in the revision session where calculus questions are starting to feel like rage bait
the discourse between stem and humanities is so ironic to me cause every stem student i’ve talked to always has an interest in a particular humanities subjects and vice versa, like i think people forget that people can be multidimensional and its okay and completely normal to like more than one subject
those aesthetic notes on pinterest feel so funny sometimes now that im actually doing a maths degree cause lord knows i am always one mistake away from scribbling out the whole page
“how do you get stuff done?” with tears in my eyes.
Took me until about halfway through college before I realized “study” means “play with the material in a variety of ways until you understand it” and not just “read the assigned chapters and do the homework” and I think that probably should have been discussed at some point prior to that.
my trick for getting through grad school is learning to navigate the quadrants with all their nuances
I loved this series as a kid
