He was a registered nurse who worked for the VA. They executed him in the streets for trying to defend a woman they were pushing to the ground. They took his licensed gun before shooting him over 11 times and then claimed he approached them brandishing his gun when video evidence shows he was only recording them when they approached him.

Details about Alex Pretti's Execution
In case you didn't already here, 37-year-old ICU nurse Alex Pretti was executed in Minneapolis today
The National and non-MN news have unfortunately not been fully covering how awful ICE has been in MN so I wanted to share some details for anyone who is not from or familiar with the Twin Cities, as someone in the Twin Cities who is decently connected with legal observers around the area:
Prior to being publicly executed, Alex Pretti was taking part in legally observing ICE and was assisting another legal observer who had fallen trying to distance themselves from ICE.
ICE has been viciously attacking legal observers. They are pepper spraying observers mere inches away from their eyes. They are using chemical weapons and carcinogenic gases. They are intentionally trying to take phones from people recording them.
Alex Pretti was killed at East 36th St and Nicollet Ave, almost right in front of a popular donut shop. This area of Nicollet Ave is lined with local restaurants and small businesses, many of whom have been struggling while ICE conducts an occupation of the Twin Cities and in particular had lost business by participating in the general strike yesterday. Therefore, Minnesotans wanted to go out in droves this weekend to make up for the lost income yesterday. This is all to say, ICE deciding to patrol and enact violence on this area of Minneapolis was vengeful and intentional. They were looking for protestors, observers, and people who are resisting ICE.
If you would like a non-exhaustive list of how you can help Minneapolis and help resist ICE, here is a place to start. Fuck ICE. Abolish ICE.
ICE has executed a man in Minneapolis today. The video is horrifying. There were five ICE ‘officers’ against one man who was on the ground and they shot him repeatedly. This was caught on video and I watched it.
They will try and spin this. They will say he was armed (which is his legal right). They will try and say he was a paid agitator or part of some horrible left wing terrorist organization.
DONT LISTEN.
This was an execution clear and simple. Whether or not he was armed has nothing to do with it, he was subdued on the ground when he was shot.
I truly don’t know what the country/world is hearing from Minnesota right now but I’m fairly certain it’s not the whole story. We are angry, we are afraid, we are helping our community in unprecedented numbers, we have been peaceful, we know our rights and have followed the law.
Fifty THOUSAND people were in the streets yesterday with almost no police presence and the whole thing was peaceful and lawful and filled with hope and love.
The thugs hate that and they are scared so they decided to execute a man in retaliation.

I know that I'll certainly never be someone they'd build a memorial for, but if I could get one, I'd like to get one of those park bench statues that are sitting on the bench. Specifically of me sitting casually looking towards the other seat at an angle, looking intrigued with a "surprised but not disappointed" kind of a look on my face. Kind of a "huh, won't you look at that."
I want that specifically so people can make it a meme to post pictures of themselves showing me stuff. Like memes off their phone.
Or maybe things that they are proud of but don't have anyone else to show them to. Like your school graduation papers, this cool knitting project you finally finished, your baby who's never going to see their grandparents.
And I also want a clause that they will absolutely fucking never put those anti-homeless things of any kind on my damn bench. So if there's ever someone who's got nobody else to keep them company, they can at least spend the night with me.
