I like the idea that once a month, v!Drift and v!Shelby start asking for way more blood than usual and Scott, Pyro and Owen probably don’t have all that much experience with girls (Too important and gay, kept away from everything by his parents, Louis may have had the same thing but I reckon they were turned early enough that their body doesn't do something so vampiricly inefficient.)

And so they ask why Drift and Shelby need more blood than usual and both blush, realising they need to give 3 vampires, two of which are over 200 years old, the talk.

But they don’t feel like it so they avoid questions until Avid is turned, who had Elle to deal with, and so guessed that they would need blood more at some point. And at some point the others male vamps all crowd around Avid as he’s grabbing more beef and ask for an explanation of why the girls need more blood. Avid realises they don’t know about periods and precedes to sit down with vampires and teach them that a women’s body will shred itself every month and lose a ton of blood.

Shelby and Drift walk in half way through and see the gobsmacked faces of the boys while Avid is explaining about cramps or something.
