I binged yesterday for the first time in like 8 months. It was only for one meal and did not last the entire day but it definitely still happened.
And I don’t feel guilty about it. What happened yesterday happened yesterday. It doesn’t have to carry into today.
@grandenoirceur #selfieseptember challenge.
Today was a really rough day for me. I couldn’t stay awake all day and emotionally I was completely exhausted. But my husband and I spent the entire day doing laundry and sorting our clothes to make the move fo Palm Bay so that was definitely a lot to accomplish today. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have more energy and I can spend the entire day packing our living room or kitchen.
Also our day ended in being able to puppy sit for some great friends so that was absolutely lovely. :)
To those with binge eating disorder
It’s okay to eat. It’s okay to relapse. It’s okay to fall a few times before you can get back up.
Omg… thank you… i never feel heard.
do you have any hang ups or face any body image issues in your relationship because you are bigger than hayden? i am a girl and I always get self aware about this around guys (both height and weight) that i find it kind of prevents me from putting myself out there and trying to date :( sigh. any advice?
The only issues I have are with myself for gaining a significant amount of weight in the past year. I feel a little more puffy and I want to get back on track and drop the weight I gained.
But in comparison to Hayden, no I don’t have any hang ups because he is smaller than me.
Hayden adores my body just as it is, and when we first started chatting he never said anything to make me feel self conscious about anything.
I honestly go in with the attitude that I am who I am, even if I am in the process of changing myself. But if someone doesn’t like who I am (physically or even emotionally) as I am in the very moment then they are not worth my time and not someone I need to let into my life.
I hope that little bit helps you think about things and you get more comfortable to put yourself out there. *hugs*
Go out and live life and just enjoy the fuck out of it.
I weigh more than my husband too and he tells me all the time how sexy I am. Find you that person.
I went to a concert last night and had some drinks but didn’t get too drunk and I still ordered a salad at dinner and I’m so proud of myself.
Lol
I just ate a serving size (5) of crackers. Then i was like “dammit I did so great not having carbs today!”
And then I remembered what an entire box of crackers used to represent for me — an excuse to binge full out just because I ate from (finished) the entire box.
So I’ll take that serving over that mind fuckery any day.

I am officially 5 lbs away from having lost 50 lbs!! This is suuuuch a big deal to me because every time I have set out to lose weight, I’ve always fallen back into old habits and gained the weight right back to where I started. This year, I didn’t do that. I made the tough choice: to love myself and call myself worthy of that love every single day. For some people who don’t have an issue with their weight, that’s not hard. And it’s also not hard for those who have struggled with their weight to love themselves. For me, my highest weight was a reflection of how I loved myself. I thought happiness was staying up late munching on whatever food I wanted, drinking sugary alcoholic drinks or sodas. College became a time for me where a fatty/sugary, unbalanced diet allowed me to enjoy myself more and “have more energy.” I knew I was getting more uncomfortable but I was addicted to those foods. I used to wake up every single morning and buy a 20 oz Mountain Dew from the snack pod and drink it on my way to class along with some kind of snack that was in no way healthy or breakfast-like. I did this for THREE years straight!! I was over 240-250 lbs sometime from my sophomore year until about a year ago.
I still remember the day I decided to give up. I’d spent my first year of college not at all caring or worrying about what I was eating. I knew I was putting on some weight but I had never had the amount of freedom in choosing my own meals and foods that I wanted to eat. It was hard to control myself and I didn’t want to; so I didn’t. The summer after my first year of college, my twin sister and I had summer classes together and we’d spend part of the school day in the gym – the first consistent time I’d had working out since track team in HS. She convinced me to jump on the scale as a “starting point” and the number read 205.9 lbs. I had NEVER seen a 2 at the beginning of the scale number before and I immediately felt so ashamed and discouraged. I tried not to act like it bothered me that much, but it did. I didn’t look at the scale again unless I was at the doctors office (and had no other choice) and then the month before I started the Medifast diet last year. Twice I have been more than 240 lbs when I’ve gone to my cardiologist appointments. The day I weighed myself before starting Medifast I was 248 lbs. I immediately associated being over 200 lbs with being disgusting and obese.
Today though, I am 1 lb above that original 205 lbs I saw over 4 years ago. To say I am proud is an understatement. I have a personality type where acting on my impulses is the norm for me, rather than the exception. To have that kind of personality type (ENFP) and lose weight like I have is miraculous, in my opinion. Any weight loss is miraculous.
I am just so proud.
Wowww wow wow
I wrote this 2 years ago. This was right before my heart surgery and (ironically) the healthiest I have been in my adult life.
I WILL get back there.
Hello!
I’ve gotten an influx of followers recently so I wanted to quickly introduce myself to you guys!
I’m a 25 year old girl living by the beach in Florida. I work at a coffee shop as an administrator and manager. I love my job. I get to live and work by the beach so one of my goals this year is to take a walk/jog/run to the beach each day. Even if it’s just across the street to the beach after work for a moment. Expect photos.
I also am married for a little over a year now. I love being married and my husband is a huge motivator in my health. He’s also into fitness and meal planning and lifting. He is one of my biggest role models. 😍
I have gotten down to my goal weight once, using medifast in 2014 but I was fucking miserable so I’m never doing that kind of crash diet again. I basically practice intuitive eating/keto/primal diet habits. I hardly ever eat sweets or carbs and if I’m just super feeling it, I’ll wait to the end of the day to do so and usually I’m so impressed by my progress that I don’t want to sabotage myself by that point in the day. As I said, I work in a coffee shop, so this is a huge feat for me most days especially since we serve DELICIOUS bagels and house made baked goods on the daily.
My workout of choice is anything cardio. I love taking walks, hiking, jogging, interval running and hopping on the elliptical is like my personal altar.
I may/may not talk about numbers here. I’m not really interested in numbers but more about how my body feels and how I feel in my body. But when I meet huge milestones I will probably post about that.
I have a serious heart condition that has limited me in the past, but as of right now I’m completely managing. More exercise and a proper diet that cares for my body and capillaries and arteries is my best chance for staying healthy as I grow older. I had open heart surgery in January 2016 for two valve replacements and as of almost two years later, truly I feel better than ever I have.
My interests are: reading, writing poetry, writing at all, cats, going to the beach, going on adventures with my husband, traveling, biology and nutrition.
Welll thats all I got!

Looks SOOO GOOOOOODDDD 😍
The hardest part of the run isn’t the last few miles, it’s when the alarm goes off and you have to remember why you set that alarm and why you want this. Get up. Shoes on. Run.
