Okay but have we considered the possibility of the shady detective framing Buck.
In episode 15 we had the doctor and Chimney tell Buck that he could face charges due to his dependency on pills. And I'm going to assume that a detective could get the run down on what when down with Buck. So it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that the detective would be able to easily manipulate certain things like idk adding Buck's name into the program that doctors check to make sure people aren't doctor shopping. And it wouldn't be crazy for him to then submit a tip to about Buck doctor shopping. And it definitely wouldn't be so crazy for him to then pay some cops to plant drugs in Buck's house when they go to arrest him.
Getting Buck to be arrested would a.) serve as a way to get Athena focused on something else b.) show that whomever is pulling the strings does feels like the 118 is a threat to them and they are trying to get rid of them one by one.
Athena would definitely connect the dots and know that something shady is going on which could be the storyline that Tim talked about. Obviously proving Buck's innocence would be easy if it's just the whole doctor shopping because they'll just have to prove he never went to certain doctors. But if drugs were planted in his house it might be a bit harder. Regardless the 118 and Athena would be on the case.
Honestly if it's not Buck who is in legal trouble I don't know why a cop would be at his house. Even if Eddie does get hurt Buck would be there when it happens so there would be no reason for a cop to go to his house to break the news to him. I highly doubt it's anything concerning the Buckley parents. I also don't think they'll bring back the sperm baby.
