Katara and Aang - being the last of their kind. Katara already felt a strong connection to Aang when she found out that he was a bender, like herself. She has never seen another bender for the past 14 years, then Aang came. They both hold the burden of preserving their cultures (Southern Waterbending style was learned from Hama) Katara warned Aang of what the Fire Nation could have done to his people, then later comforts him when he finds out he’s really the last airbender. Katara understood him, even though her problem wasn’t as big as his, (since her people were still alive.)
