Priapus 3 update please?

(no but seriously I do apologize for being so silent so far. I know I said it’d take awhile but I didn’t anticipate it would take this long. Basically everything that could go wrong in my personal life did and things have only been something like normal for a couple weeks now. Three-quarters of the pages are cleaned and almost all of the pages are translated, and considering this thing’s length, that’s saying something. I can’t make any promises on a due date but we’re close enough that I can say Sometime Soon™)

Got a translator confirmed (the wonderful baths returns) and I just got my confirmation email from SurPara, so Priapus 3 is go. Do NOT expect the pace that I worked on Gachinko and Entwine at-- Priapus 3 is a whoppin' 44 pages and school is starting up again, so it might be awhile, but it's going to happen if it kills me.

Also, the yen is crashing again and one yen is worth less than 1 US cent, so if you've been putting it off, I highly recommend hitting up SurPara with a visa or mastercard. It's pretty easy to get through check out even if you don't know a bit of japanese. Just click the big red button on the page I linked and then go through the checkout process using google translate.

Nah. Ryo, FrozenRain, and Teo did a great job on Priapus 2 and I would hate to step on their toes. Granted, if they asked me if I wanted to work on Priapus 3 I wouldn't say no, but I highly, highly doubt that'll happen.

Hi, I was wondering if I may share your recent scanlation "Entwine" in a forum or two? I wanted to ask permission first. If I can what information or links would you prefer me to include? Where should I point links and may I re-upload it to my own file sharing? Thank you to everybody for their hard work on it!!

The only two rules for sharing my work are to keep the files unedited, and to never ever ever charge money or use them to make a profit in any way. You can compress them in a different format or change the name of the archive, but the files contained inside must go completely unedited. Those are my only hard rules, but here are a few guidelines that are just good rules of thumb for any and all scanlations everywhere:

I highly discourage uploading to online readers that add watermarks or do bad jobs with resizing (entwine can be read online here with no watermarks and no resizing if you’re curious).

I strongly encourage that you use the credits and links that are on the original post if you’re in a position to, including the Surpara link.

If you can only submit one link, submit the permalink to the distro post since that has proper credits and downloads and it’s a really simple, bare-bones page with no ads.

i was reading the gachinko manga by mentaiko (beautifully translated and scanned by you and others) and i realized...you totally could have went with battle of boners or boner battle as the title! haha..well, keep up the good work!! :)

ok so i was kicking myself for not thinking of “Battle of Boners” myself and really hated to see a gem like that go to waste and so i opened up photoshop to do a quick 10 minute sketch as a nice little tribute at least but a 10 minute sketch is not what i wound up with.

i just spent two hours the night before a final exam working on this all for the sake of a pun.

any news on the translation of Entwine?

the scripts are done (I had two wonderful translators who are just the bee's knees), the cleaning is done, I just have to finish up the typesetting but I'm trying not to rush it. I did have to go say hi to my family and pretend to be interested in football this weekend, which wound up taking more time than I thought (it turns out that porn editing doesn't mix well with Thanksgiving dinner), but it's almost done, I promise, keep your panties on.
