I truly used to believe that some people were just worse at communicating than others and I should give grace to those situations, which is true to some extent. But I think I’m coming to realize I was just entertaining so many relationships with people who weren’t invested/interested in me like I was them and expecting the same commitment. Rather than patience with those relationships i could much more efficiently just find other relationships that are more mutual and that communication kinda comes naturally.

I always thought the end of us would come through my life loudly; like the titanic sinking, the shot heard round the world. Instead you’re just putting silence between us more and more like fresh snow falling. Like a silent fading away in a film.
