okay so i've officially fallen down the rabbit hole 🍂

been gathering inspo for my bedroom redo and i think i've locked in the vibe — warm neutrals, board & batten walls, natural textures, and that cozy-but-intentional energy that makes a room feel like a whole exhale.

image 1 is giving me everything: the shiplap wall in that muted greige, the raw wood bench, the woven textures, the little framed landscape… it's rustic but so refined.

image 2 is the board & batten reference i keep coming back to — that deep terracotta brown on the lower panels with the cream striped wallpaper above it? criminally good. it feels warm and grounded without being dark and heavy.

i want to blend both of these — the earthy texture of the first with the bold wall treatment of the second. thinking a warm brown or clay tone for the board & batten, a jute rug, and a simple wooden bench at the foot of the bed.

this is happening. slowly. on a budget. but it's happening.
