This Slow Cooker Cream Cheese Ranch Chicken recipe makes a dish that is creamy, tasty, and very simple to make. Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 packet ranch seasoning mix. 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened. 1/2 cup chicken broth. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped fresh parsley for garnish optional.
Instructions: In a slow cooker, place the chicken breasts at the bottom. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and chicken broth until smooth. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and cover again to melt the cheese. Once done, season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot over rice, pasta, or with your favorite side dishes.
