I have no idea who runs the Astroglide twitter account but honestly, they’re my hero.
And this has been added to my list of reasons I do not play video games, especially those with dogs.
Supernatural recycled actors
Keegan Connor Tracy has now been bbn onSupernatural three times as three separate characters.
I mean, maybe they don't have as many actors in Vancouver as they have in California, but I would think they had more than that.
Ruby Bridges was the first black child to desegregate the all-white William Frantz Elementary School in Louisiana during the New Orleans school desegregation crisis in 1960.
This movie made me cry, I was so heart broken by how Ruby Bridges was treated! She was only 6, but was so strong. She is a very brave girl and she did not care what the white folks called her.
People are simply disgusting to minimize people by skin color!
Ruby you might not think you’re a hero… But to other people you are! You are A HERO and you are A PERSON WHO MADE AMERICA CHANGE!
this is white culture, this is their history, this is their legacy…being enraged at a damn baby just because she’s black.
she’s still alive by the way
Ruby Bridges in 2010
“As Bridges describes it, “Driving up I could see the crowd, but living in New Orleans, I actually thought it was Mardi Gras. There was a large crowd of people outside of the school. They were throwing things and shouting, and that sort of goes on in New Orleans at Mardi Gras.“ Former United States Deputy Marshal Charles Burks later recalled, “She showed a lot of courage. She never cried. She didn’t whimper. She just marched along like a little soldier, and we’re all very very proud of her.“
U.S. Marshals escorted Bridges to and from school
As soon as Bridges entered the school, white parents pulled their own children out; all the teachers refused to teach while a black child was enrolled. Only one person agreed to teach Ruby and that was Barbara Henry, from Boston, Massachusetts, and for over a year Henry taught her alone, “as if she were teaching a whole class.”
Every morning, as Bridges walked to school, one woman would threaten to poison her; because of this, the U.S. Marshals dispatched by President Eisenhower, who were overseeing her safety, allowed Ruby to eat only the food that she brought from home.
Another woman at the school put a black baby doll in a wooden coffin and protested with it outside the school, a sight that Bridges Hall has said “scared me more than the nasty things people screamed at us.” At her mother’s suggestion, Bridges began to pray on the way to school, which she found provided protection from the comments yelled at her on the daily walks.”

THIS SHIT WAS ONLY 58 YEARS AGO. PEOPLE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS RACIST TERRORISM AND ACTS LIKE IT ARE STILL ALIVE, AND THEIR KIDS ARE IN THEIR 40′S AND 50′S.
DON’T LET RACISM APOLOGISTS GET AWAY WITH “WHY ARE YOU LIVING IN THE PAST,” BULLSHIT ARGUMENTS. WE ARE LITERALLY STILL DEALING WITH THE FAMILIES THAT FORMED HATE MOBS OVER BLACK CHILDREN ATTENDING SCHOOL WITH WHITE KIDS.
This was her then:
This is literally how she looks in 2017.
She’s literally not even old.
My English teacher in college lived through integration in Alabama. She was not only at the University of Alabama and watched Governor George Wallace try to stop the students from entering the school but she also roomed with one of the women who was being integrated. On several occasions the FBI had to evacuate them because of death threats. My teacher was also in Birmingham at the time of the church bombing which killed black children.
It's horrifying to think of the isolation and abuse this tiny little girl endured because of stupidity and pointless hate.
9 year old kept getting in trouble for doodling in classs, gets a job decorating a restaurant with his doodles
They sent Joe to an after-school art class and his artistic abilities were quickly noticed by those around him. In fact, Joe was invited to decorate the dining room of the ‘Number 4’ restaurant in Shrewsbury, England. Now, Joe is known as The Doodle Boy and has his own website, as well as social media pages showing off his awesome art.

Chronic illnesses
This year has been one of my most difficult. I've had one asthma flare after another, two serious lung infections (one was staph in my lungs) and I am pretty sure that having to take so many damn steroids is how I had a slightly elevated A1c in June (never happened before) but an A1c of over 10 just three months later.
There have been multiple occasions when I felt so bad that I felt like I might be dying and wished that if it was going to kill me, it would just hurry up and get it over with, today is one of them. Then I think about how I have been to this point multiple times this year and recovered so it may be miserable and painful as hell, but not killing me yet. Which is frankly kind of terrifying because if I feel this bad when it's not killing me, how much worse is it going to be when it does kill me?
It's enough to make me think possibly planning a way to escape it before it gets that bad. Right now I am fighting it and doing everything I can to get better and I do get a few good days where it feels like it's working, then it all starts crashing down on me again. If the rest of my life is going to be like this past year or worse, I dont want to deal with that. I have spent most of my life being chronically sick, and it has never, ever gotten better, just gradually worse. I think anyone who read that and told me I was selfish for wanting it to end needs to eat my unwashed ass and fuck off. They are the stupid, thoughtless selfish ones, having had a life that was mostly free of a daily struggle and pain. Fuck them.
If my life and health don't get better, fuck it. I want to die. I should not be guilted and shamed into feeling obligated to live a worthless, painful life because someone else hasn't walked in my shoes to know what it's like, or because there are other people who are worse off than me but still struggling and fighting. I'm still fighting too, I'm just not blind to the fact that I'm losing and kind of getting tired.
dare i say that stuffed animals are one of the single greatest inventions of all time and im thankful every day for the fact that someone thought to make animals but in huggable plush form…..saved me from a lot of bad nights and nightmares as a kid, i love you stuffed animals
You may offer your thanks to Magarete Steiff
She lived in Germany and could be considered as the first person to sew stuffed animals merly for children to play with and to counter the common “hard” toys out of wood or metal wich were popular back then.
There is even so much more to the story, because she was as you can see paraliezed from polio, she couldnt walk or use her right arm, she had to fight all her life just to be accpeted as a human being, she wasnt even allowed to sit in the front row of church in her home village and had a pretty abusive mother. One time she and her brother almost drowned but the townpeople only attempted to save her brother because he was healty. Her father saved her from drowning in last minute.
Only her father and brother stood behind her, still she learned to accept her faith and make the best out of it. After a failed operation she said she had gone around living this way anyways. She started to sew, more importantly she started to sew with a sewing machine wich was realy new at this time. People would not buy from her at first but then she made a realy beautyfull dress for her best friend and suddenly everyone was crazy for her work.
Then she started to sew little elephants as pincushions, but when she attempted to sell them around christmas she quickly realized that for one children were crazy for them and wanted them as toys and also. this was what she wanted to do, bringing happiness to kids.
She expanded futher and gave work to over 20 women as sewers in her factory, her brother helped her to do so, and she started producing stuffed animals of all kinds (almost) their trademark was a button sewed into every anmals ear. It still is to this day.
Whit the economy crisis her factory, and she almost lost it, she already couldnt pay her workers, he factory was about to be forceclosed and the last hope was a toy fair they would attend,
and then she had an idea, she sewed a bear, the very first stuffed toy bear there was, with moveable head and limbs and realy soft fur and glass eyes, it was beautyfull, but at the toyfair most people thoght it was to expensive
most people because one american buyer fell in love with the bears, he bought them all and he ordered 3000 more, it saved the factory
you may ask why would anyone need 3000 stuffed toy bears easy, to support and advertise the candidacy of Theodore Roosevelt as the U.S. president, trough that the toy bear invented by Magarete Steiff became well known as the
Teddy Bear
Disability history matters!
The fact that she faced so much ableism and discrimination in her life was indeed sad (and infuriating!) – and that may be the reaction of many abled people when they hear her story (the poor disabled little girl).
But the fact that she survived, and innovated, and brought modern machines to her hometown, and advocated for herself, and brought joy to so many people, in spite of that discrimination (and I do mean “spite”) is not sad at all.
It’s downright victorious!
You know originally democracy had this feature where if the government stopped representing the people we'd all get together and kill everyone in charge

Did Misha lose a bet or is this Misha wanting to be in drag again? I'm thinking bet because Misha wouldn't have chosen that color.
Not!Jack
I haven't read all the comments yet, but I have seen a few people speculating that the demon possessing Jack's body isn't who he says he is. I can definitely see the thought process. But am I the only one thinking it might actually be Crowley? Either from another dimension or because Chuck just threw him into the mix with scrambled memories?
I mean, I did see a season 15 promo photo with Mark Shepherd in it.
@metafest
I was talking to a kid in my daughter’s class today, and she said that she thought it would be fun to write a story about the Titanic, but with supernatural creatures.
So I said, “Yeah, that would great! What would the creatures do? Would they save the Titanic from sinking?”
And she gave me the most disgusted look. I have never seen a 9 year old face look so appalled.
“No,” she said, speaking very clearly so as to never be so grossly misunderstood again, “they’re going to eat the passengers.”
God I hope she lets me read it.
I want to read that, too!

mcu stans really need some divine intervention at this point
I really have to agree. There is a distinct difference between a FICTIONAL CHARACTER dying in a dumbass movie and wishing for REAL LIVE PEOPLE to get killed.
And seriously, if you are this damned upset about Tony Stark kicking off, you should have been in therapy before they killed him off.
