what is that song you sing for the dead?
― Sylvia Plath, The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath

of Bill and Frank ..
In the third episode of The Last Of Us, when I unexpectedly met Bill and Frank, I didn't know that this story would change my view on love, endings, and care.
I just want to highlight the strawberry scene, when someone thinks of you in a way you'd never think of it yourself, to an extent of providing something you find unnecessary, and yet, sweet and irreplaceable.
I want to be loved, and be able to love, the love that makes us grow strawberries while the world is ending, the love that makes us open windows, even when we're dying.

he was my sky. always changing. always beautiful. always free.
I've always thought of your hands.
George Seferis, ‘On a Ray of Winter Light’
can you hear the music?
It's always in the morning, when my soul awakens, I rediscover the world again, and drown my skin in the fresh sunlight.
I wake up, leaving all last night's tears behind, to drink more coffee, and listen to more music.
ghibli love .. unmatched, pure, and dreamy.

Elegantly lonely.
Blue Moon, but we're in my bedroom watching the rain through the window, and I'm singing for you.
as it spins
crackling of the needle on vinyl as it spins, buoyancy in exaltation
moonlight thin between us illuminates, chasm filled, as boundless we sway
swarm, they come, and falls of harpies snatch our fears by gust, their doom
let’s dance my love, in melody soft of song and touch, as if always it must be
we, entwined

me, in their eyes
Whenever I find myself in a movie character's eyes, a strange feeling of sadness and isolation overwhelms me, though the opposite is expected.
I don't know exactly why this happens! Maybe it's because of knowing that someone out there thinks like this, and sees life in a way I understand so much, but also not having that "someone" around. The weird thing about loneliness is that it increases when you know there's a way out of it, but not available for you in the meantime.
Every day, I act; I perform a personality that fits in the contexts that interfere with my line of life, and when the lights are all off, or when I'm finally alone in my room, only there, I get to be me, with all the shyness, weirdness, eccentricity and introversion that the world can't seem to accept.
And.. I'm surprisingly ok with it. But, seeing a fictional character that I can relate to this much, living the things I can't (even though it might be painful), gets me back to ask a question I usually run away from ..
What if I never got to live the life I want?
