Hello, all! I’m Cecil, you can use any pronouns for me, I don’t mind. It’s been a while since I’ve written Nick in general. But it’s good to note that there are some HUGE changes to this whole thing for this new refresh. 

The RULES PAGE is required reading, as it will be extremely obvious if you haven’t read it. It explains what I mean by “Limited Verse” which is the biggest thing you need to be aware of with this blog. Rules are in a google doc, and linked in the bolded text above.

I also have it linked in the mobile description, and have a page on my blog with the same things on it if you prefer that. It’s very accessible, and they really aren’t very long. So don’t be the person who thinks this is your average blog with a few extra rules so you can just skip it this time. Because it isn’t.

And here’s a super short little Bio Page for those who feel they need one. If you have questions, ask. Otherwise I’m going to assume you know me from my many previous Nick iterations. I don’t feel super inclined to be heavily detailed at this time. If you’re unfamiliar with SPN or who Nick is, he’s Lucifer’s Plan-B vessel, and he physically kinda fell apart because he wasn’t the true vessel. Nick was very traumatized by the whole thing, among other previous life traumas. Of which he is healing from these days. We stan a mentally healthy King.

**Mostly I lurk on occasion. It’s been a long time since I’ve tried to write for Nick. Maybe one day I will again, but as of now I’m pretty dormant, so I don’t post much if anything. I may end up following you just to read what you’re writing because I have nostalgia for the good times and sometimes it’s nice to see people around here. So don’t feel obligated to follow me back, I’m genuinely not offended if you don’t. However:

EXTREMELY low Activity. (could even be considered something of an ongoing hiatus. Feel free to say hi ic, or ooc, but I make not promises for instant response in either situation)

Nick had to hold back some amount of laughter that he, a human, possibly meaningless in the face of the literal devil, and an archangel, fallen or otherwise, could make said archangel pout about not emotionally patting him on the back for "not lying".

He didn't laugh. Not really. He kept it to a distinctly entertained facial expression instead.

"One brownie point is overdoing it. Because I think you misheard me. I said you don't get brownie points. Your honesty was vague at best. And in practice, it was also a brutal and generally unnecessary honesty. Really kind of a rage filled honesty that I'm not even sure helped you in the long run, because now you're in my living room and pouting because I'm right and you don't like that. Because if I'm right, then it almost means you have to see me as some sort of equal. Might have been better if you'd lied."

"For both the good things you just said, as well as the true, but slightly rude things you also just said, maybe the human idea that we're made in your image isn't so off base." Yes he did just low-key uno reverse some of that on the Almighty Chuck. He was lucky he'd said some positive things in there or it could almost be considered a roast.

Nick smiled, "Your face is an interesting observation," a beat, "and that specifically was a bad attempt at a flirt on my part, apparently. What are we looking at in an observationally interesting way, exactly?"

Nick snorted, somehow the statement was genuinely slightly funny to him now. "You'd think honesty was always the best policy. But manipulating the truth to benefit your own agenda to the misfortune of everyone except you in the process isn't what I'd call good honesty etiquette. So you really don't get brownie points for not lying in this case."

"I know this is going to sound absolutely insane, my guy, but frankly I'll just stop trusting you again. Your opinions likely won't have much merit to me. But I'll keep you around for entertainment value because if there's one thing you can be trusted for it's probably that you're untrustworthy, so I can have fun annoying you with that logic."

Considerations for how Nick could have changed since he's been gone. (aside from the general change in how this blog would work anyway. The whole limited verse thing).

He does have a boyfriend who he's super polyamorous with. But he's also like way more unhinged. In a positive, good way. Like he's gone to some serious therapy and he's just stopped giving a shit. Maybe he has some cats. Cat dad. He probably smokes weed. He's really just too tired not to, and at least it's not alcohol anymore.

What if I just came back? I just start sending people memes as if I have always been here.

I just have the excuse that Nick went traveling the world for like a year and he comes back with a starbucks in hand, and some customary sunglasses at night and he's like, "Suh, dudes?" and left it at that. Just outright was like, "Yeah what of it? You know what a bitch needed? A long ass vacation. Maybe I learned beekeeping, you'll never know. (Just kidding, I didn't learn beekeeping because flying bugs kinda scare me but who's counting?)"

Not me making a post more than a literal YEAR later because I’m bored at work only to say “god there’s so much Star Trek on my dash on accident because of recommended posts and it’s tempting me to make a Star Trek blog” I won’t. I don’t have the time or energy to keep up with one at all but it is slightly tempting. (Then again Star Trek is my special interest these days so I suppose it would be tempting.)

Also hi, seeing peeps on the dash pleases me, I hope things are well. I’m doing alright, if having some unfortunate executive dysfunctions today. But I’ll figure it out.

I HOPE LIFE IS TREATING YOU WELL

FOR THE MOST PART IT IS. AND IT IS MUCH BETTER NOW THAT YOU'VE SAID HI <3. I haven't been much around in a while, life is weird and sometimes hard. Needed a lot of space and a shift in what I was doing. But the last week or so I've been having some nostalgia about writing on tumblr, and some of the people I used to write with and talk to. As I was scrolling the dash I was literally thinking, "Man, I really miss Wyll and hope he's okay." And then I noticed a familiar URL interacting with Aspen/Salem, and I was like, "Oh god bless the nostalgia for this thought, or I might have just missed the familiarity."
