29 Ramadhan 1442AH

Its been a very challenging fasting month. There were so many things that I did not achieve. Things that I achieved unexpectedly. I am trying to change for the better. It sucks that I find myself being more alone as I walk down this path.

We spend too much time judging what a person wears. Proud of the hijabs and veils crowned on our heads.

Do not let it veil our hearts

Being kind is a virtue that is terribly lacking in this day and age, explaining people tend to take advantage of those who are generous with it. Often these poor souls have been ingrained to put others before themselves but lack the cunning and shrewdness to see that they are being taken for granted. They also tend to prefer to see the good in people and close an eye to those who use them for personal gain and often end up making look them like fools in the eyes of others. Yet, when they refuse to help those gave taken advantage of them, they are made to be self-centered.

Sometimes its alright to be "selfish"

“And (remember) when the Man of the Whale stormed off (from his city) in a rage, thinking We would not restrain him. Then in the (veils of) darkness, he cried out, “There is no god (worthy of worship) except You. Glory be to You! I have certainly done wrong.” So We answered his prayer and rescued him from anguish. As time passes by, I sometimes think what he would said if he saw us?

Of all the hurdles in life. On e of the biggest that I constantly have to challenge and subdue is the sleeping demon inside of me.
