Sophomore Troy Williams has decided to stay a Hoosier next year instead of entering the NBA Draft. You can read a full article on usatoday.com
Great news out of Bloomington today! Troy Williams is one of the most athletic players in the Big Ten who can really take over a game when he needs to. I genuinely think an extra is smart for him, because this will give him another year to improve his basketball IQ before becoming pro. There’s no question a few NBA teams want him now, so I respect Troy for trusting the Hoosier program and trying to win a title next year!
Congratulations to Duke on winning the National Championships (Or should I say, "Thanks for not letting Wisconsin win!")!!!!
4-star recruit Thomas Bryant is heading to Indiana next season! Here is his official senior mixtape from his time at Huntington Prep in West Virginia.
4-STAR RECRUIT THOMAS BRYANT COMMITS TO INDIANA UNIVERSITY! The 6-foot-10 McDonald’s All-American and and Jordan Brand All-Star from Rochester, New York has verbally committed to Hoosier Nation. He is ranked #22 in the ESPN Top 100 Recruiting Class of 2015. Bryant was also considering Kentucky, Missouri, and Syracuse. You can read a full article about his decision on insidethehall.com
Wow! I haven't even had this blog for 24 hours, and I am already reporting some exciting news! It was no secret that the one of the Hoosier’s largest weaknesses this year was their height. Not only is Crean and his staff fixing that problem, but they’re doing it in style! Bryant will make the Hoosiers multi-dimensional on offense, adding a firm inside presence to the Hoosier’s excellent perimeter game. I am very eager to see what else Thomas Bryant will bring to Bloomington!
Freshman Max Hoetzel says that he intends to transfer from IU next season. This makes him the second player the Hoosiers have lost for next season (Stanford Robinson made his transfer announcement earlier this week). You can read the full article in the INDYSTAR.
Being one of the taller players on the team, I thought Hoetzel had plenty of potential to be a solid player on the Hoosier roster. Unfortunately, he didn’t see things the same way. Best of luck to wherever he goes!
Congratulations to James Blackmon Jr. for being a finalist on the 2015 Kyle Macy All-American Team.

Hello Tumblr!
My name is Ben Wallace, and I am proud to announce that April 3rd, 2015 is the birthday of The Hoosier Hub!
The Hoosier Hub will be a blog that is primarily focused on the Men’s Basketball Team at Indiana University. On this blog, I will be uploading posts, pictures, videos, articles, etc. on all things Indiana Hoosiers Basketball!Â
My goal is to gather quality material and relevant news about the team and deliver it to the biggest fans in Hoosier Nation. I will try to keep my blog organized, informative, concise, and most importantly- fun!
Although I am not a native of Indiana, I can still assure you that I am a die-hard Hoosier! This fall, I will become a student at IU and the Kelley School of Business. In addition to the great education that I know I will receive, I am also excited to be a part of a passionate, loyal community. Hopefully, The Hoosier Hub can become a large part of that community. Go Hoosiers!!!
P.S. Special shoutout to dukebasketballneverstops for inspiring me to make my own blog! (Duke fans aren't as bad as you think!)
