A good motto for life. Damn!
Internet film maker, Casey Neistat, was approached by 20th Century Fox to make a promotional video for the new Ben Stiller movie The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, a film about chasing your dreams. The budget they offered him was $25,000. The brief, "If you could do anything in the world right now, what would it be?" Casey jumped at the opportunity, and made a truly remarkable video that no one was expecting. Amazing, man.
An eight-piece band made entirely from weapons that were confiscated from Mexican drug cartels. Music is a weapon of choice. Nice.
The surprising story of how cricket and the Compton Cricket Club have changed the lives of gang-bangers and the homeless in Compton, California. Respek.
You wouldn't believe it but the number one killer in Africa isn't Aids. It's malaria given to you by mosquitoes. The flippen annoying sounds followed by an itch you cannot stop scratching. Well, one guys putting an end to the itch.
This has to be the biggest story on spying on the public to break. This guy did a valiant thing. He took a massive risk and gave up anonymity and possibly future life and relationships for the greater good. Well, before the spooks get their hands on him and ship him off to Guantanamo. Well done, Sir.
"The source behind the Guardian's NSA files talks to Glenn Greenwald about his motives for the biggest intelligence leak in a generation".
Not just the Captain of the star fleet, but a captain to young minds. He certainly wants others to boldly go where no others have....here's an excerpt "Patrick Stewart often talks about his childhood and the torment his father put him and his mother through. However, how he answered this vulnerable and brave fan's question is one of the most eloquent, passionate responses about domestic violence I've ever seen. "
In my last post I posted this guys song in response to Zach’s condition. Well, here’s another video about him during his last days that’ll cause a few tears and make a lumpy throat, but most of all it’s leave you wondering what amazing things you can do today and how appreciative we should really be. In a non cheesy but very real way. You’ve left a massive message behind my friend.
Zach Sobiech is 17 years old and diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Given only months to live, Zach turned to music to say goodbye. His song "Clouds" spread like wildfire, and soon, Zach's message was heard across the country. So his fans decided to sing his song back to him, well, mime, but there; some pretty big fans. Pretty amazing, really. Hope you're in a better place Zach.
This has to be the coolest couple out there at the moment. Here's to truly embracing the moment and having a blast while you're doing it.
We all know and love this guy's work. Some of us even may have bought the T-shirt. This film is based on the true story of Shepard Fairey's first act of street art during his time at Rhode Island School of Design from 1989-1992.
This is a flippin amazing idea and brilliant video. Every woman and man should see this. Sure, it's on the back of a campaign, and for a brand, so we should take it with a pinch of salt. But if we can look past the shady eyes of consumerism for a second and look to the truth of this message. Powerful and thought-provoking. Well done Dove and the guys that came up with this. A sure winner.
The most powerful arm ever invented. Amazing, makes signing petitions really powerful.

If you like dogs like I do, you'll love this. This is one seriously cool dog.
Okay, let me first say that this guy isn't amazing. Only humans that do amazing things that are positive go on here. This guy is not doing the world a favour. What's amazing is the fact that he actually can get away with what he is doing and still have a moral conscience. But wait, he doesn't because he's a confessed anarchist. I just think he's a douchebag.
The other amazing thing is 3D printing. That part is amazing.
Ray Gascoigne has been around boats his whole life, as a shipwright, a merchant sailor, and now as a ship builder on the smallest dry dock there is: a bottle. This short film, by Smith Journal and Melbourne-based production studio Commoner, picks through the wood chips to tell the story of a craft honed over 60 years, and the man behind it. A step-by-step account of the process was featured in Smith Journal volume six. Find out more about the project: bit.ly/10eWkuF Learn more about Smith: bit.ly/sDgUHh
