I know this is a joke post but one of the wildest facts I have rattling around in my head is that hospitals are required to report all gunshot wounds to the police and the police will confiscate the removed bullet as evidence, but you also have a right to refuse medical treatment. Refusing would prevent the hospital from removing the bullet and that also means police can’t confiscate it

so you can keep the bullet but only if you’re willing to keep it in the wound
