intimate lap kiss

this mod adds a new romantic interaction: "intimate lap kiss". it becomes available when two sims are sitting close to each other.
base game compatible requires the xml injector
by default, the animation depends on the actor's gender: - if the actor is a female sim, she will sit on the other sim's lap. - if the actor is a male sim, he will pull the other sim onto his lap. if you want to change this, use my other mod.
it works similarly to the in-game "make out" interaction and has comparable outcomes.
the interaction is available when sims are sitting close to each other on: - sofas; - benches; - ottomans; - double and single beds, except murphy beds; - pool edges.
you can find it in the 'romance' category -> 'physical intimacy'. sims must have already had their first kiss. the interaction lasts around 25–30 in-game minutes.
there is a 40% chance that both sims will receive the following buff:
the chance is higher if your sims have the steamy romance dynamic, or if they find each other attractive or very attractive (ep 'lovestruck').

This sweatshirt went public yesterday but I forgot to reblog oop Enjoy! ✨
In the 12th May update The Sims 4 introduced a new CAS category dedicated to accessory tops, called Base Layer. This way you no longer have to give up on gloves if your sim wants to wear a CC accessory top. (Originally all my accessory tops and chains were located under the Gloves catalogue so your sim couln't wear them at the same time. Downloading the new updated versions is not a necessity, if you like them located under the gloves section or you haven't updated your game to this patch yet you can ignore this post! ^^ )
After making a poll checking preferences, I decided to make a new, standalone version of my already existing accessory tops and body chains located under this new category. This way you can have the old (gloves) version and new (base layer) version at the same time and I noticed you can even layer two accessories this way hehe but if you no longer need the old gloves category version, you have to manually delete it. The file name changed the following way - I added the BaseLayerUpdate suffix to the original filename. Example:
Trillyke_Superstar_Waist_Chain_Belts.package - old file, located under the Gloves section Trillyke_Superstar_Waist_Chain_Belts_BaseLayerUpdate.package - new file in this bundle, located under the new base layer catalogue

Accessories like sleeve accessories and arm warmers I didn't touch, I feel they still fit more under the gloves section. Accessory chains however I updated, bodychains will be layered under tops, while waist and belly chains will be layered over clothing, as originally intended. Not on the preview, but I also updated the two male frame accessory tops I made in the past.
The file is a ZIP file containing 38 package files, make sure you unzip it and move everything to your Mods folder! ✨

Door Interactions Mod
✨This mod adds new interactions to doors so your Sims can Knock, Check On Sim, Eavesdrop, Late Night Knock, or Bang on Door when your sims lives get a little intense.
Whether it’s a check-in, someone listening a little too closely, a late night visit, or a Sim refusing to be ignored, each interaction comes with custom popups, buffs, and outcomes to help bring more storytelling into your game.
✨Eavesdrop Is Unlocked instead of being limited to only certain situations or specific door types. Sims can sneak up to a door, listen in, and try to uncover secrets easier!
Depending on the interaction, you may be asked to choose a sim inside the room. From there, the mod can trigger custom popups, moodlets, and response outcomes. Sims can check on someone behind a closed door, listen in, show up late at night, or bang on the door.
Check On Sim lets your Sim use a door to see if someone inside is okay. It’s built more for storytelling than random chaos: your Sim chooses someone in the room, checks in on them
🔥Late Night Knock lets Sims show up at another Sim’s door after hours and hope for the best. They might let them in for a private late-night steamy make out, But if the vibe is wrong? The Sim inside can deny them at the door and yell at them to leave.
Bang on the Door is the more dramatic version of a regular knock. Instead of checking in, the Sim bangs on the door like they’re upset, impatient, or desperate to be let in. After someone bangs on their door, they can either open it and deal with the situation face-to-face, or refuse to let the other Sim in.

Mod Updates - 05/14
Hello !
After checking all of my mods, it seems like no update is required for anything, so if you are using my mods, this is fine 🐕🎩 (no flames here).
🎭 Grand Ball outfit fix -> The issue of Sims not using their formal outfit if no dress code was specified is solved, but the mod can still be used when you want to force Sims to wear masks for the Grand Ball, as the option still don't work.
🧩 Improved Social Compatibility and 🧲 Improved Turn-On & Turn-Offs -> For their next update, I will include the new event trait, as it wasn't included by EA of course.
There are some projects I have on the side I can continue to work on during the next months, as I finished training program to work for social and solidarity economy, and finding a job in this field will take time (so I'm unemployed with a lot of time !).
I don't know if that stuff is relevant or interesting for people, don't hesitate to comment on this post if some idea seem interesting to you :
🚪Unrestricted doors unlock and lock -> I modified to interactions to remove the constraints, as for some getaways, having the option to lock and unlock doors for one or multiple Sims while I'm there, and also temporary claim rooms for one of multiple Sims i'm not playing was making things run better.
🏔️ Revamped getaway activities -> I explained this issue, but as Small Businesses, Getaways and Custom Venues selected activities work by pushing a list of interactions to Sims, without the logic you would observe in regular community lots (depending on their mood, personality, etc.). As those new venue allow to tie a buff to those activities, I started testing stuff and it seems to run better this way, but it would require a lot of work.
🧇 Fill in buffet table as an activity -> Asking Sims to cook and serve meals on getaways is a complete mess, with everyone starting to cook and blocking all the conterspaces. One solution I found was creating interactions that empty then fill the buffet table with enough food (breakfast or normal meal) and activities to make Sims use them autonomously. It works well, and I might also use them for my Multi-functional lots, as I have a motel where that would be very useful !
🛍️ Better sales tables -> There would be a way to improve and add more diversity to what Sims sell on sales table on the new Community Market lot type (and Marketplace from Eco Lifestyle), and using appropriate Sims to sell the products. Again it's tedious work, but I already listed some ideas related to that.
🧘 Diversity autonomy on community lots -> We now have so many skill building or entertainment objects, and older lot types don't take advantage of that as Sims don't use those items in their autonomy.
🩱 No nudity lot trait -> I already worked on this one, as for community pools for example, I wanted my sims to shower in their bathing suit.
On another note, more freetime means I'm building and creating Sims for both Ondarion and Gibbi Point. As I haven't seen many people using my save file (and I understand, it's quite complicated and big). I don't know if I will update it, but one thing for sure, I still have a lot of work to do, but I can show some screenshots !
The first three pictures represent the three Dynasties I created for my version of Ondarion (and other random Sims), I haven't pictured all the ancestors, and the last picture represent the Sims I created for Gibbi Point (I also made over the necessary NPCs).
For Ondarion, I have yet to start on the three big palaces I need to create for my families, I'm not the most comfortable with enormous builds, so I need to find the right inspirations for that!
I really love Gibbi Point, I have few lots left there, and I had a lot of fun creating camps for children and for teens ! Here again, the huge lots are a struggle.
