I know I haven’t been active on Tumblr (at all) since the Twitterverse has absorbed me, but I wanted to share this all with you!
Today was my first official day as a writer for EDHREC! Please, give my article a read, and let me know what you think, it’s greatly appreciated! 😁
Ravnica Allegiance: Mythic Edition is here! You can go read the article, but I’m also including the important “how do I get this?” part below:
Real talk—the sale of Guilds of Ravnica Mythic Edition did not go well. It wasn’t ideal. Given what we learned from that experience and the (mountains of) feedback we received, we’re changing things up for this round.
Ravnica Allegiance Mythic Edition will be sold through Hasbro’s ebay store. This accomplishes a few things. First, it means the product can be shipped globally rather than just to North America. Second, and just as important, we expect a smoother buying experience for anyone who attempts to purchase the product.
It will go on sale at noon PT (3 p.m. ET/8 p.m. GMT) on Thursday, January 24.
Because the product is available internationally, this also means we will not be selling any product directly through MagicFests as we did with the Guilds of Ravnica edition. There will be a limit of 2 per customer.

I’ve been sitting on some articles I have half written and I might look into editing and publishing them somewhere. The premise is taking a step back and looking at Colors and strategies in EDH as a whole, instead of diving into specific commanders like everyone else does. This article series would be aimed at newer players and people new to EDH. My question is, would you have found articles like this helpful when you started playing edh, or not helpful? I would really appreciate feedback.

Latest iteration of the Innistrad Cube is up! What is your Pack 1 Pick 1?

Thanks for the pick! You’re the first person between Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr to pick Arlinn I’m any pack as far as I can recall, so I have a quick question for you if you don’t mind!
Would your pick have been the same if instead of Arlinn, Huntmaster was in her spot? Or would your pick have been different?
I have enough room for 2 gold cards per color combination, and I enjoy the way Planeswalker play, but I also know the strength of Huntmaster, so I’m just trying to get a general consensus from people looking to go into Red/Green ☺️
I think I’d be picking one of the human cards, either increasing devotion (It’s simply a good card, and has potential value based on the rest of the cube) or thalias lieutenant. Lieutenant is an amazing card in a lot of potential GW decks, and those were kinda my favorite in original innistrad, so I’d be interested in that if the cube can support it well. I think that in tribal strategies, good lords are VERY important and extremely high picks.
I agree with Devotion as one of the higher picks in the pack. Being a single color and having the potential to create 15 bodies is nuts.
I can see the argument for Lieutenant, as well as either Planeswalker. I am also privy to removal, so I think my 2nd and 3rd picks would be Morkrut Banshee and Bound in Moonsilver before another bomb, but that’s just me.
Personally I’d take moonsilver, but thats because I love some good old GW innistrad limited.
Moonsilver is a super solid pick up, especially if you just have some tokens lying around. I have a hard time sinking my teeth into G/W deck for some reason though, and I simply adore creatures like the Banshee
