I’m genuinely so confused rn so with Sofia the Forst Royal Magic I watched all 8 episodes that are on Disney+ but now I’m listening to the soundtrack and there are songs I didn’t hear and I’m seeing ppl talk about Eden Espinosa’s character and a duet between Rapunzel and Elena and I’m like when did that happen are there more episodes available elsewhere is it stuff from promo??? Where do I find ts I NEED more Elena content

Hi! The first batch is just 8 episodes, the other episodes will release later on this year, season 1 has 30 in total. So the other songs on the soundtrack are just songs from episodes that havent been released yet.

Eden Espinosa plays the main villain named Zandrya and her song is 'unstopable' and Elena and Rapunzel's song is called 'be bold'

Okay i need to yap more about the stf:rm songs.

To preface i dont hate any of these songs, the only one i outright dislike is 'We're royal heroes' cause its really ear grating, but the rest of them are all okay.

So the songs are all very pop. Theyre very loud and in your face and the intrumentals are all really intense compared to the more relaxed guitars of the original.

They're also all really fast, like og sofia songs are noticably slower and more calm but these ones go at a mile a minute sometimes.

I think songs like "we have to be friends" and "my brilliant little sister" could have benifited from being slower paced.

Also, speaking of "my brilliant little sister" the timing is so weird to me? Like especially at the end part when hes saying "youre just as brilliant as your- no, youre twice as brillaint than your no-" Its just like the song keeps going when it feels like it should have ended.

Also, Elena, Sofia and Rapunzels main intruments are ALL guitars so it baffels me why their song together doesnt have backing guitars? I feel it wouldve fit alot better.

I just think that Sofia's music was so original and nice to listen to and the new ones are so loud and overwhelming compared to the old ones. They all stood out despite most of them being backed by a single guitar and the new ones all just kind of mesh together despite having alot of different kinds of instruments behind them. The new ones all sound really repetitive too.

Hola! I Hope you're doing well. I loved Be Bold! It helped me as a trauma survivor. I started crying when Elena started singing bc I missed her so much. I didn't mind her sharing the song with Raps. Yes, it would have been awesome for Elena to have a solo or duet with Sof. But that will probably happen since Elena is in a lot of episodes this season and Aimee has sung multiple songs as Elena for Royal Magic. I love Unstoppable! Eden is amazing! I'm soo excited for those episodes! I'm relieved most of the princess episodes will be 23 minutes long. My favorite songs are Be Bold, Unstoppable, My Castle Home, Most Magical Me, My Brillant Little Sister, Open Up, Be Awesome and We Need to Be Friends. I do agree with you that the series should have been 22 minutes and the storylines not simplified. They should have combined this storyline with the original ending. My favorite new characters are Camila, Zane and Zaria. I love that Zaria is on the spectrum. It's amazing representation. I'm sorry this was so long.

No worries i love long asks. I also quite liked be bold, i missed elena so much and even though it didnt sound like the old songs i still found it super catchy. My fav songs are "my brilliant little sister" "the most magical me" "unstoppable" and "be bold".

My fav character is Devan, though i really liked Zane too.

And yeah, as someone who sometimes looks monotone when they are happy, im glad kids get to grow up with a character like Zaria, shes awesome.

Okay, so ive watched stfrm a couple days ago and here are my thoughts (spoiler warning lol)

It was okay, it was what i expected i guess.

Zane and Devan are the favs currently. I like the new kids, i think their outfits are cool, (though i wish zane's second color wasnt purple it kinda clashes with the blue, also i wish his crown was silver so we'd have 2 of them in silver and 2 in gold)

I didnt LOVE the songs. Ive listened to the whole album and all the ones in the episodes. I think "the most magical me" is the best one because it sounds the most like the original show. The new songs instrumentals are so loud and in your face, that they draw your attention much more than the lyrics and vocals. Theyre all so modern and theyre literally just carbon copy pop songs. I dont hate them, but it just isnt like the original at all, i miss the guitars 💔. Also im upset that Elena had to share her song with Rapunzel. I hope she gets her own when the actual show comes out.

I really think the 11 minute episodes was not a good fit for this show. The original 25 minute ones worked so much better because you have alot of time to flesh out an entire plot and give a character ample time to grow in that amount of time, but with 11 minutes, the characters learning the lesson goes by so fast. Its like, you can tell exactly what the episode will be like from the beginning, there wasnt an episode where i couldnt predict the entire thing. I have nothing against 11 minute episodes in general, i think they work really well in shows like Jake and the Neverland pirates and pj masks, but they work in those shows because they follow a formula. Sofia doesnt do that.

Also James going to Ever realm academy with Amber annoyed me. He wanted to be a knight, i dont know why they just made him do the same thing as Amber, his like whole thing was wanting to be a knight.

Also Amber's 2 episodes being "im jealous of sofia" and "i dont want to get my dress dirty. I want to go home and try on a tiara." Was so annoying to see, she got so much development and now its like we're right back at season 1.

All in all, it was alright, 6/10. The animation and character designs are great and its cool that alot of the voice actors came back, i just hope the next batch of episodes will be better.

Okay, first off i really like Zaria. Her and Zane are super Pinkie and Maud coded. Also i really like that Zane is the really expressive one and Zaria is super unexpressive, but its shown that Zaria is the more hopeful and optimistic one, like when theyre in the tornado and Zane is complaining but shes saying how fun it is and how shes pretty optimistic that her and sofia can be friends while Zane is pretty pessimistic and doubts they can win the race. Its just refreshing to see the monotone character actually be happy and upbeat even if she doesnt show it on her face or in her tone.

My guess is that hes gonna pull a hildegard where him and sofia have a duet about the way he is and then he becomes friends with the 4 of them
