weird how abled people don't want you to have supports because it may Annoy Them. no, you can't have a shower chair, it'll get in my way. no, you can't put subtitles on, im here to watch a movie not read. because the needs of the disabled are somehow lesser than the wants of the abled.
they really expect disabled people to suffer, be in physical pain and be excluded just so they don't have to experience a teeny tiny slight inconvenience and think this is a reasonable expectation.
I let someone who I thought was a friend move in to help them out. Out of many other issues with them, he reorganized my kitchen on me and put so many things I regularly use for cooking and baking out of my reach.
When I pointed this out, he said they didn't like how it looked before and that I could just use a stool.
I have a bad knee and a bad shoulder. This makes it hard to balance on things and hold onto things and grab things safely.
The kicker?
He doesn't cook or bake. This was purely a matter of aesthetics for him and he made it harder for me to use my own kitchen just because he didn't like the way it looked.
