The fabled scarf is complete. Finally.

Just as the weather’s warming up, of course. Isn’t that how it goes?

Details:

Double sided for warmth+consistency (subsequently, it looks the same on both sides!), simple fringe, 60/40 wool to acrylic, stockinette all throughout. Stripes are a dark grey rather than black (not about going out looking like a bee, so I tried my best to avoid that).

I love cabling and using varied stitches, but there’s a certain charm about large pieces of stockinette that I can’t resist.

Next up, project wise: a substantial hanging basket for my plant shelf. Watering supplies, plant food, and insecticide foliar spray have been in a cluttered pile on the floor and that needs to end.

I'm still relatively new to knitting with multiple colours, but THIS motif...may convince me to give something more complex a shot.

It's killing me how funny this motif is from the book Alterknit: Stitch Dictionary. Now the question is, what do I knit with this? A hat? A scarf? A sweater? Do I gift it, or keep it for myself? The possibilities are endless.
