Havent kept in touch with tumblr! but heres a quick PSA from Mime and he is here to stay whether you like it or not. I will continue to draw mime grace and i will not stop. Mime grace isn't just a character created by a evil ahh yt guy anymore. hes evolved and blossomed into something more beautiful to me.

I am genuinely so overwhelmed and distraught with everything thats happening with Grace at the moment, I feel like I've been stabbed in the back. Grace is the MAIN thing that made me believe in Heaven, that made me believe I'm Loved no matter what, that made me believe in Him. It's so horrible to see everything go downhill so quickly. I don't want to blame Simon entirely, as this situation should have stayed private between him and his girlfriend—it was an issue between them and therefore an issue for THEM to solve and work on together. Fynne getting exposed like this never should have happened.

I'm really scared for the future, I'm glad it could potentially be continued through the community considering it'll become open-sourced, but so many people will have different ideas and views that I won't know what one to truely stick to. There will be too many changes in some versions that I won't be able to stomach—and the original will probably be left in the dust so it'll just rot and eventually break.

hey, instead of being sad, let's look at things from a different perspective?

grace may be over, but it's still alive. the lack of updates doesn't mean this game will stop delighting us with its messages and characters. if grace was able to help so many people who fear religions, who were lost in guilt for their actions, then we must understand that it's doing its job, regardless of who worked on it. ultimately, simon is just another human being, a minor, a literal CHILD who had to cope for a huge amount of time with the shit that was heaped on the person he tried to help, on his friends, and on himself.

let's not forget the main message in Grace: people are capable of changing for the better. it takes time, but eventually everything works out.

maybe im being unduly optimistic, but i truly believe that optimism is something we all need right now :^(
