OPERATION HAMMERFALL:
Date: 1/17/22
Location: Blacksite somewhere in the US.
Hunter sat waiting for the crew the foundation had picked for him. From what he read on the briefing files it was just two mercenaries the foundation hired. While he didn't mind working with mercs, seeing as he once was a soldier of fortune after leaving the military, he note the was no information about the two. "Hmm, that not right. No names, DOB, or any information about these two." He pondered the documents amd eventually just gave up and began inspecting his equipment and weapons. Once he had his gear on he noted hearing footsteps down the hall.

Any other day, such small work would be put on the back burner. Left to it's own devices for as long as possible. After all, it was small. Meager in comparison to other work. However you know what they say about apathy and boredom. And they had reached the peak of boredom. So, this would be a pleasant change of pace.
Heavy steps followed lighter ones down the hall, the door swinging open to reveal two vastly different people. The first was a silver haired, golden eyed woman wearing a leather coat and gloves. No weapon on her to speak of, at least, none that were visible. Though the shining of a silvery metal could be seen poking out from her collar and sleeves. And most notably, she seemed angry. And with the clothes her physique was rather unknown.
The other however was a 7'5" amazon of a woman. Towering and intimidating. The air seemed to thrum around her, and on her back, a rifle that was as large as her. She was cloaked, wearing a mask that appeared to be constructed of obsidian. The cloak hid her body well. "You must be our third." Spoke the silver haired woman, her seeming to give him a once over.
Hunter looked up at the two and nodded
"Yeah, I am indeed. Names Hunter. Have they breifed you on what exactly we're doing?"
He crossed his arms over his rifle and waited for a response. He scanned the two of them and noted not only their facial expressions but how they carried themselves and presented themselves.
Ther was no face to be shown to the taller woman. She stood proper, perfect posture. She knew the drill and had some amount of discipline. And more than likely had military experience. The shorter one however was a spitfire. Tapping her finger or foot impatiently as if waiting for something to happen, for something to hit, face in a slight grimace.
"Enyo. This is Fia, my boss." The shorter one said, the taller one nodding her greeting. Seems she wasn't a woman of many words. "We've been given the run down. We just need to execute now."
"Little eager are we? Good, i just hope you're not the over confident type."
He looked at enyo. He walked out of the room and towards a small truck that had supplies loaded in it.
"Lets roll, I'll drive."
He turned the key over and waited for the two to get in.
Unfortunately, the truck was a little small for the taller woman. However Enyo was quick to hop in with a subtle nod of approval from Fia. She on the other hand hopped into the back and found a secure enough space to sit down and enjoy the ride.
A few hours would pass as the rolled through the night. Hunter consulting his gps on where to go.
"So what made you two sign up for this? Its not often i work with mercenaries. Let alone on a hunt."
He briefly looked over at enyo.
"Boredom. Plain and simple. Fia doesn't have an issue with paperwork and slow stretches of simple work, but I have an itch to scratch and need something to do." If that wasn't already obvious by her bouncing foot and restlessness. "Money is money though."
"I can understand that, i used to do contract work before the foundation found me and offered me a job."
He slowly began to stop the truck.
"We're here. Get ready, cause i don't know what's gonna be on the other sode of this hill."
He pointed at the ridge line about 50 meters away from them. He got out and began to survey the area and make ready his breaching equipment. When he was done he put his night vision onto his helmet and began moving to the ridge with an m107a1 and scanned the area through a thermal optic, looking for any sign of life.
"Scopes look clear so far. Just a small warehouse about a kilometer out..."
He put the big rifle back into the bed of the truck and grabbed his scar.
"...make ready cause we're moving out."
The towering woman brushed her cloak aside, revealing vest, not unlike human military. However, her chest was lined with large, 20mm rounds. Excessive, but considering her stature, it might be the same as shooting a more realistic large caliber rifle. She slung her massive rifle into her hands, kneeling on the spot right next to the truck. "Fia isn't much for close combat. I'll stick with you, she'll provide overwatch." Enyo said. However Fia's rifle didn't have a scope. Or a magazine. A single shot, bolt action, 20mm rifle. What kind of godless excess was this?
Enyo on the other hand let out a huff as she followed along, reeling her fists back. In an instant, a pair of knuckledusters deployed from something beneath her sleeves, as well as a collar and mask that deployed to cover her mouth and neck. "Don't worry about shooting Enyo." Finally spoke Fia. Calm and composed, confident and authoritative. "She's going to run headlong in anyways. A couple rounds won't do much to her."
Hunter sighed after hearing this but acknowledge what fia said.
"If you need optics for that take the thermals off the .50 cal and use it as you wish..."
He passed a small satchel to enyo.
"Here, if you busting walls down keep these on you. Their white phosphorus grenades with silver nitrate infused into it. Now i should ask of you two know exactly what we're hunting?"
He flipped his night vision down and chambered a round into the breach of the rifle.
Fia rolled her head, neck cracking a she took some without sights. "I have my methods." She opened the large, heavy bolt of the massive rifle, and loaded a silver round. Whatever was in front of this rifle would not exist much longer. "Yes we do."
Enyo took those and stowed them away, sharing those knuckledusters together as and she prepared herself for a good fight. She was obviously excited.
Hunter just sighed internally, he didn't know how this would go. He stacked upon the door and slowly opened it, once open he activated his IR light to see with nvg's. He signaled back to keep silent until the time was right, and pushed down the hallway. He followed the sound of voices until a large steel door was before them. He kneeled down and slowly began placing explosive breaching charges on to the door and around the door frame. He walked back a few feet and motioned for enyo to follow him lest her armor get ripped apart by shrapnel.
