Fili stared at the burnt remains of the pot they had used to try to feed themselves.  It was no use trying to get rid of it, Heti would notice it was missing.  She was due back from her hunt any day now.  Fili and Kili stood staring at it where it sat on the burner.  "She's gonna kill us,"

Talking about this with Hiddlespeare and Minu, Hiddles was commenting on Fili’s chin fluff and I was saying Thorin probably tickles him there.

I see this as being from the story where Fili ran away. So it’s nice for Thorin to hear Fili laugh again, whereas this is all terribly new for Kili.
