End of 2016 and the beginning of 2017
I’ve been on Tumblr for way too long. Each year I do a year in review and what I would like to see happen this year. I’ve also notice that has time goes on, I’m on Tumblr less and less because there is nothing to really see and people just complain.
But in review for 2016:
- I got into the Game and Animation Program
- finished up my Fall semester with A’s and b’s as a junior
- have 3 semesters left til I graduate
- Celebrated my 1 year anniversary with my best friend / Hubby. Andy :)
- Went out to Florida like I always do to visit my mom. Took Andy to the beach and the springs and IOA.
- Andy got his FAFSA reinstated after passing his Physics class in the summer.
- Andy got into a car crash around Thanks giving time :( Car was total and we had to get a new car. But that’s okay. The car is really nice and it’sl All whee drive/ 4x4
- Was president of the club DAGA for the spring semester and the fall semester. As much as I loved being the “DAGA queen,’ I’ll be glad to pass this position as president to someone else so I can focus on my schooling/portfolio
- I made it to another Year at Sizzler. I am now at 5 years at this place. It’s a love/hate relationship. Hate the costumers that comes in there, but sometimes they are nice and tip very well. Love my manager and co workers and love how flexible they are with my school schedule.
- I did pick up a second job by working with my mother in law, but it just wasn’t the job for me, so I quit at the end of the summer.
- I didn’t die in 2016. Apparently 2016 was the year of killing a crap ton of people.
- I would like to be a bit more healthier.(* eat healthier by not going out to eat so much, drink less soda, exercise more. *)
- A bit more spiritual (*2016, kept me so busy that I fell out of the routine of reading, praying, and going to church, going to the temple, and doing my church callings*)
- Improve my portfolio and hopefully get an internship.
- Don’t quit school because I am so over it and tired of constantly having homework and not having enough time with Andy and to myself.
- survive another year at Sizzler or maybe get another job.
- finish my junior project so I can submit it towards the student emmys and hopefully win and I can put that down as an accomplishment.
- Get over my fear of driving on the freeway (*it’s been getting better. My fear is slowly going away and i am okay of being on the freeway as a passenger. Now, so actually drive on the freeway. Thing is is that I never had a reason to take the freeway by myself. all the places that I go to are within 10 minutes from my house and in the same city. *)
And i think that’s all of the new year resolution that I want to make this year. Here to 2017!
