My anime recommendations for beginners
Have you ever wanted to get into anime, but havenât been sure where to start? You might have heard of the highly popular series like Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Naruto. Sure, those series have a lot going for them, but the length is not one of them: theyâre each hundreds of episodes long, and thatâs probably way too much too much for beginners (and even a lot of veterans). So Iâve tried to prepare a small list of shows which I feel serve as a good introduction into the world of anime.
Which one would you choose?
Touka, from Tokyo GhoulÂ
Naruto and SasukeÂ
ĂąÂÂa man shouldnĂąÂÂt have to live on carbohydrates alone, complex or otherwiseĂąÂÂ
Spike Spiegel, bounty hunter.
What Assassinâs Creed is doing wrong
Assassinâs Creed is a series which is beloved to many fans, evidenced by it being one of the best selling franchises for the last generation of consoles. However, it seems to have lost its way with last yearâs two games, Unity and Rogue, not delivering. Unity, as Iâm sure everyone knows, was myriad with glitches and was unplayable well past launch. There were many other features which were criticized, and it fell far short of being everything it promised. Rogue, on the other hand, was at least playable at launch, but the question being asked most was: why should we buy the game? Apart from a short yet different story, the game was exactly the same as 2013âs Black Flag. It wasnât a game which was really needed, and only diehard fans, such as myself, bothered to play it.
In this article, I suggest what Ubisoft can do to regain the trust of their fans and put forward Assassinâs Creed as one of the best series on the new generation of consoles as well.
Inside Out movie review
These days, animated movies are showing more innovation and originality than a lot of their live action counterparts. For instance, what if fish had feelings? Or cars? Or planes? Or even monsters? Well, this movie takes an even bigger leap and poses the question: what if feelings had feelings? The answer is that it makes an exemplary movie which dazzles the viewer in so many ways.
Jurassic World movie review
In a nutshell:Â Despite some truly awful secondary characters, Jurassic World is an enjoyable summer blockbuster with a decent lead cast, excellent visual effects and a character driven plot.

SpongeBob: Sponge out of Water
SpongeBob Squarepants is one of those characters that is primarily thought of as being for kids, but is surprisingly entertaining regardless of age because of its weird humour, simplicity, voice acting and just generally being a lot of fun. However, if youâre not a fan, donât expect this movie to win you over.

Avengers: Age of Ultron review
In a nutshell: Ultimately, while this movie is a solid, satisfying sequel, it was impossible for it to capture the charm, charisma and sense of the coming together of the Earthâs Mightiest Heroes in the first movie. Still, itâs entertaining, with a great cast, perky humour and amazing action sequences.

Understanding Ultron
âThere are no strings on meâŠâ
If youâve seen the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, youâllrecognize the line, spoken by James Spader, who plays Ultron. You may also recognize the line from Disneyâs 1940 film Pinocchio. Odd place to quote from, I know, but before I can explain that, I should first tell you who exactly Ultron is. And to explain that, Iâll need to illuminate the circumstances which led to the creation of Ultron.
