I thought of Jungle Book while watching Big Hero 6, hence the mashup in the corner. Kaa’s design changed a lot, but I’m going with the latter.

I wonder if I am the only Jungle Book AU trash out there… But mine is called Concrete Jungle, where Mowgli is much older, but has amnesia. Instead of a jungle, it is a foreign city of gangs. Mowgli is still found by Bagheera and given to the wolves, who run a hospital. The premise of this is that Mowgli is an orphan solo outsider that every gang wants for a certain power (like King Louie wants his “fire”). Shere Khan wants Mowgli killed because of him being an outsider with strange “powers”. Elephants are police force, Vultures are their own gang but they don’t do shit, etc.

Sketch Dailies: Bagheera

The sketch dailies prompt today was Bagheera. I love Disney’s adaptation of the Jungle Book so I started a sketch and that just turned into a whole thing. I still like just the two of them without the background as well so here’s both versions.
