and it’s the only slightest amount of reassurance that oasis needs before his elongated arms are stretching forward, wrapping around the area of the doorframe, simply allowing himself entrance to the other’s apartment. “ funny, isn’t it ? — season to give, and yet, your own family couldn’t give two shits about you. ” he’s bitter, to say the least & the blank countenance says it all. oasis is impenetrable at the best of times & whenever it came to the holidays, his unforeseeable family gatherings were quite literally, the least of his problems. he sits down next, his legs crossing over one another as he relaxes, finally, and his brown orbs are glued to the other male within the same area of him. “ papa ? shit, okay. yeah, don’t call yourself that again, like ever. just hurry up, yeah ? wanna get fucked, pretty damn quickly. ”
not even caring that the boy let himself in, donovan flops down on the couch not a SINGLE care in the world. most likely, if he wasn’t so high, oasis’ words would speak to him on a deeper level of friendship -- but as of now, donovan was too far out of his mind that he’s surprised he could even function. “ you learn to live and let die -- even with your family. it’s shit but shit happens. ” he whispers the last two words for an added, dramatic effect. “just grab the - the shit on the counter, do it yourself, mi casa es su casa. ” he lazily smiles, eyes shutting as his head falls back onto the couch. “ i’m gonna be honest, one hit of this will truly fuck you in every position possible. ” donovan laughs, feeling quite enlightened with his surroundings at this point.
Darlene rolled her eyes as the male did not hide his amusement very well “ I have a fish at home waiting for me and I’m not sure I even fed him, But Definitely NO l o v e i n g family. Can you please just front me until i get paid? “ Darlene questioned hoping if he wasn’t going to show a little sympathy maybe they could bargain.
“ be nice to your pets, they have feelings too what the fuck?” he grumbles, shifting in his seat. “yeah, sure, i’m feeling jolly so why the fuck not.” he shrugged, he wasn’t too worried about money in this moment, just the euphoric sensation bubbling on from his high. “here you go, ma.” he says handing her a joint laying on the counter of his living room.
quite HONESTLY, she just needs to forget. forget about everything that isn’t about getting high. any other time she’d be happy to banter with the boy, but now isn’t a good time. holidays were always hard for her. instead of responding, she pushes past him and into his apartment. ‘ not today. ’
not even one significant change of emotion appeared on her face, just a shove and a quiet comment -- hm, odd. ‘ what’s up your butt? ’ he questions her, and his question is ACTUALLY sincere but sincerity and donovan are not the simplest combinations.
At his first comment she naturally responds by flipping him off. “ do you HAVE to talk so much? I thought all drug dealers were broody and sarcastic but nope, here’s you looking like a fuckin care bear on weed - talking to me like we’re best friends or some bullshit.” she retorts as she takes the blunt of him with a roll of her eyes.
and in a flash, he’s got a smirk dangling from his lips as if he’s ready to cause some trouble -- and that he is. “ you want me to broody AND sarcastic? i can do that in an instant, but i’ll be more than broody and sarcastic. i’ll kick you out, you can forget about me giving you some free fuckin’ weed right now, and you won’t be welcomed to anymore drug deals from me. ” he declares strictly, his body leaning towards her to wait for her response.

and almost instantly, he relates to the guy because his family wants N O T H I N G to do with him, and the worst part is -- he can’t do shit about it. the joint dangles between his lips as he speaks messily before finally parting with it, “ i’m not one to judge so you’re in luck. take a seat and let papa give you the best weed the earth has to offer. ”
’ are you D O N E ?? ’ her arms crossed over her chest, her left eyebrow cocked as she tongued the inside of her cheek. SO the girl didn’t have the life that he thought of her - – she’d let him to continue to think that for as long as she pleased.
he knows she’s HIGHLY vexed by the boy -- and he can’t blame her, he’s constantly annoyed with his own antics all the time but continues no matter what. ‘ i guess i am... but i’d like a please ?? ’ he smiles ever so sweetly at her, leaning forward to hear the word come from her lips.

The blonde shoots him something in between a glare and a sarcastic smile ( which to be honest, are the only two facial expressions she has) before replying “ see how I DIDN’T ask you about what you were doing this Christmas? Well, do me a favour by returning the favour.”
he lights up a joint as she’s speaking, pressing it to his lips ever so gracefully. “ man, you really need a hit. like c’mon -- can’t you just loosen up without having to get high? i’m just your FRIENDLY, community drug dealer afterall.. ” he annoyingly smirks at her, handing her the joint that was pulled between his parted lips.
