Project Hail Mary fans after finishing the book and the movie

Caine and Angel's relationship is complicated.

To Caine (at least at the start), Angel represents the antithesis of what he knows. He's vulgar, rude, and won't stop talking about sex, drugs, and alcohol. Angel reminds him of what he lost; mainly his power. If he was able to, he would forcefully shut him up. And that thought scares Caine. After the events of episode 8, Caine is terrified of any sort of violent/negative thoughts. He's constantly fighting himself over whether or not he should have free will. Angel helps him come to an understanding about it.

Silly little Hazbin×TADC crossover idea I had.

So basically, after Caine gets deleted in episode 8, he gets sent to hell. Doomed to an eternity of his failures, he decides to pivot to a new purpose. He seeks out a job at the Hazbin Hotel, where he becomes the hotel's in-house therapist. Cue hijinks and angst. And, best of all, AppleBees.

Anyways, here's my version of Caine (since it is a Caine-centric au)
