1. 16. Do you go to lesbian meetups in your city
We don't have those. Small town life. But I do have a small group of lesbian friends, thank goodness
41. Do you cook or bake
I used to bake more and am getting back into it. I'm more into preserving what I grow, or at least I try to
42. Do you wear rings
I was a ten-silver-ringed baby witch in high school, then stopped for a long time. I now wear my dad's old wedding band on my right middle finger, he designed it himself and it's quite pretty
Thank you 🤸

1. Have you ever uhauled
No, that has an air of impulsivity to it and I am a very deliberate person
2. Are you still friends with your ex
No, but I'm not against it. I am friends with my girlfriend's ex, though
18. Are you a golden retriever or black cat
I'm a Mud Dauber
47. Do you have stickers on your car or bottle
I have safety and privacy concerns about plastering public items with revealing info. I do have stickers all over my clipboards and my fridge.
48. Wallet or purse
I have a kind of canvas tool belt (or the kind of thing some servers wear) that I wear around my waist. Need my hands free and not about to get my shit snatched. Also love a backpack.
(Thank you for asking and gosh just realized I dropped the email ball ❤️)

On A Woman's Madness - Astrid Roemer
Every Sunday at 11pm EST, you can listen to Amazon Country for half an hour. Music by lesbians and feminists for lesbians and feminists. We're always discovering artists to listen to, and I always enjoy a ritual with the girlfriend.
Just started!
That thing about birds being more afraid of women than men - it's because she Didn't See You There
The assumption was that women were the ones to catch and kill birds for food. So the birds have a genetic memory of that. I seriously think it's because men move through the world like bears and women move more like cats. So they know where the men are, but women more frequently accidentally take them by surprise.

i want to turn on the tv turn on a random movie and it’s directed by a woman, it’s written by a woman, the lighting was done by a woman, the cinematographer was female, the score was written by a woman, the foley artists were women… i want to go see the orchestra and the conductor is female, the trombone section is all women, the cellists are women, the programme is music by women, the artistic director is a woman, the orchestra manager is a woman, the person who booked the venue is female, the double basses are women…
I hate the current men's sports thing that's going on these days. May no news about it find me unless it all burns down.
I’ve never hated someone so much that I want to inflict sexual violence on them. It’s a bit terrifying how a substantial part of the population doesn’t feel the same . I won’t pretend to be some saint with no disturbing or vengeful thoughts on those I despise but it still baffles me just how common it is for males to get turned on by the prospect of SA explicitly being used as a weapon .
a few lines from "Carnival of the Spirit" by Luisah Teish
in my opinion
a) the most angry generation of lesbians ever is being produced rn who saw what gen x lesbians had and didn't get it. the rue is a lot worse when you not only can fathom what could be but have photos and videos of it. lesbians our age in 1954 thought it was really spiffy to be alive and not straightjacketed.
b) what gen x lesbians had wasn't made by them, 20-somethings in the 80s, it was made by middle aged women who grew up in the 40s, 50s, 60s
being blackpilled is dumb it's obvious the state of things is going to improve. it's just a matter of accepting that zillennial lesbians unfortunately are builders and not receivers of things. and we are all 25 year old substance addicts right now. i would delay your suicide plans by about 15 years if i were you.
It gets better because we make it that way. We can make this place beautiful.
I was reading some comments on this post and came across this idea that young lesbians had their inheritance stolen. I don't want to belittle the loss of lesbian culture but there are STILL older lesbians who want to give stuff to younger lesbians out there. There's still an inheritance no one is claiming. But a lot of lesbian culture is underground and young lesbians got to step out into unfamiliar spaces to go looking. I recommend starting with a FREE subscription to Lesbian Connection Magazine.
The lesbian inheritance is not For Me so I don't remember everything but there are old lesbians who own land and want younger lesbians to step in and help build a home on these lands. When I went to women's land there was a lesbian art scholarship where a woman could come live somewhere rent-free for a year so she could focus on making art.
There's still stuff out there. Not all young lesbians need to build back from nothing. There are old lesbians who have built stuff and don't have anyone to give it to.
