I work with a group of teens and half of them are trans. The first to arrive today told me it was trans day of visibility. I said "Oh THAT'S WHY I can see you today. Normally I just see your clothes floating in the air."
They apparently liked that because they turned to the next kid to arrive and yelled, "I CAN SEE YOU!" Only explaining it was Trans Day of Visibility once they were sufficiently bewildered.
The third kid through the door was cis so he got "CAN YOU SEE US?" in unison from the first two.
This chorus grew as more kids showed up and joined in, each greeted by either "I CAN SEE YOU!" or "CAN YOU SEE US?"
