Solebury Orchards.

An impressionist rendition of a photo that I took of Cuttalossa Farm using the Prisma app.

When we passed this place I made Cailey stop so I could snap a few pictures, but it wasn’t until later that I found out that it is the most iconic property in the county that we were visiting and that it was once home to Daniel Garber, a renowned American impressionist landscape painter. He lived in this house from 1907 until his death in 1958, and it is here where he created some of his best known works.

The Baltimore Harbor Tunnel which runs up to 100 feet below the Baltimore Harbor and has ventilation buildings with a total of 32 fans that replace the air within the tunnels.

The view of the Delaware River from the bridge at Washington Crossing where General George Washington led his troops across the river into Trenton in the winter of 1776 achieving a pivotal victory in the American Revolution.

Cuttalossa Farm.

We visited Solebury Orchards today, 24 acres of land situated in Bucks County, PA where you can pick everything from apples, peaches, pears, cherries, plums and apricots.

Our relationship with this earth should be one that is balanced with both give and take. Somewhere down the line as a society we seem to have lost sight of that, but occasionally you can still find examples of where that balance has been achieved.

We experienced both ends of the spectrum today when it comes to ways of life. I think I prefer this one.
